May 23, 2011- World Championship Fighting announced 8 Main Card Fights today!
The WCF’s 11th installment will headline, three time UFC Veteran Dan Lauzon fighting Top ten New England Lightweight Noah Weisman for the 155lb Title.
Announcing today the WCF will Co-Feature a bout between two of New England’s top 5 featherweight fighters. A WEC, Bellator and Strikeforce veteran, Anthony Leone 8-4 of the Bombsquad will meet fellow featherweight and 5th ranked fighter in the northeast Bill Jones 9-3. Jones a local 145lb Champion is a winner of 5 of his last six fights finishing all of his opponents in the first round. Leone is fresh off bouts in both the WEC were he fought Renan Barao, training partner to Jose Aldo and a unanimous decision loss to The Ultimate Fighter Veteran Jeff Lentz on Bellator.
Fighting on the Main Card is a Middleweight match-up between Perry Filkins 3-1 of Miletich Fighting Systems of New Hampshire and Ranger Up Sponsored Fighter and US Marine Corp Staff Sergeant John Walsh 6-6. Filkins has an extensive and successful amateur background and has continued his success as a pro. One of if not the most exciting fighter to watch in New England, Filkins is worth the price of admission alone. Walsh is an instructor at MACE (Marine Corps Martial Arts Center of Excellence) The highly decorated Staff Sergeant is a veteran of 8 combat tours of duty with the US Marine Corps and veteran of 12 professional MMA bouts.

Gonna be a great show and would we expect anything less from WCF??? Of course not!!! Obviously the top 3 fights are gonna be sik fights but I want to see Lucas Cruz fight. I have seen him a few times and he is very impressive. See you all there!
