Coliseum To The Cage 10/12/2012 Review

Warchild and I arrived at the Sports Zone in Derry NH around 6:30pm.  The drive wasn't too bad, we hit a little bit of traffic...damn leaf peepers!!  I see a PowerAde Booth, SuckerPunch Athletics, Kill Their Will and  Jack Daniel's booth.  Warchild said I can't do any shots tonight, he doesn't want to babysit me.  We met the people in charge, Jimmy Quinlan, Chris Corso and Eric Bither so we can finally put a face with the name. They lost a few fights off the card so we are down to 11 but it should be a great night of fights nonetheless.  The Chris Violette vs Lewis Caballer was cancelled due to medical issues last minute but we aren't going to let that spoil a great night of fights.    I see John English and Kevin the Ref are here to make sure everybody is behaving.  The ring girls are looking hot, I am sure Warchild will get some photos for you all during the night.  At the media table we got, Old School, Nader, Warchild, ExtremeMMA and I. Peggy Morgan, John Ortolani and John Fain are running the DNA MMA crew tonight!! I am not too good at estimating but it seems to me like there are at least 1000 people here. Running a little late, this should be starting soon...

Hats off to Coliseum to the Cage on their inaugural show.  They had a great turnout of about 1000 people or so and the crowd was very vocal throughout the night.  The energy in the arena was great.  The venue was really easy to find and had plenty of parking.  A very reasonable $5 dollar parking fee and great ticket prices starting at just $20 bux.  We didn't have our regular photographer gear so there most likely won't be many photos in this review.  You will have to just make fun of my writing for entertainment I guess.  The fighters fought their asses off in the cage and it was a perfect night of fights.  Rumor has it they will be doing another show in December so stay right here and we will let you know all the details as they unfold.  I lost my bet to Old School and will be paying you back at Fight Night in Maine buddy!!  Maybe we can go double or nothing up there!!
