Bangor, Maine (February 4, 2023) – New England Fights (NEF) returns to the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, Maine on February 11, 2023, with its next mixed-martial-arts (MMA) event “NEF 51: Banger in Bangor.”  Tickets to the event are sold-out, but a live PPV stream is available at www.CombatSportsNow.com.  Earlier today, the fight promotion announced the addition of an amateur bantamweight bout to the card.  Hannon Sanford (1-3) will meet Stanislav Rakov (2-2) at a fight weight of 135 pounds.

Hannon Sanford will look for his first win in the NEF cage on February 11.  He has lost his three previous fights with the promotion, including hard-fought unanimous decisions against Key Baltazar (2-0) and Felipe Gunter (4-3).  Sanford recently picked up the first win of his amateur MMA career on a fight card in Massachusetts.  He currently represents Central Maine Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu based in Lewiston, Maine.
