The day has finally come when Cage Titans 59 is happening! They have another action packed card with some grappling and mma action. They have put together a total of 15 matches which will be sure to please. The show is completely sold out and I am tuning in on Spectation Sports to keep up with all the action. Andy K did an excellent job on singing the national anthem and is the host with the most for the night. The commentators are Andy K, Hilarie Rose and Rich Santiago which should be a blast to listen to during the night. Please follow along as keep up with all the action.

Rd 1: They both come out swinging and Shane works the quick takedown. Liam bounces right back up. They break and Liam gets in a good combo. Shane gets another double leg takedown and gets the back. He sinks in a rear naked choke for the tap.

Rd 1: Lucas presses Matt up against the cage. They both exchange some knees and battle it out for position. Matt accidentally knees Lucas in the cup so the action is paused. Action is resumed and they both exchange a few punches and kicks before the round ends.

Rd 2: Lucas gets in a leg kick and then presses Matt up against the cage. Lucas goes for a takedown and Matt stuffs it. They clinch and Matt gets in a good knee to the body.

Rd 3: They start out swinging. Matt connects with a right hook. Lucas is looking for a takedown and is pressing Matt up against the cage but runs out of time.

Rd 1: Jake gets in a good kick to the body. Joe misses with a high kick as Jake ducks under. Joe with a nice combo backs Jake up against the cage. Jake grabs the leg and gets the takedown. Joe grabs the arm and Jake slips it free. Jake gets in some punches to the body as the round ends.

Rd 2: Joe gets in a front kick to start us off. Jake gets the takedown and ends up in guard. Joe bucks him off and they are back to their feet. Jake gets another takedown and Joe goes for a kneebar that looks good. Jake slips out and stands back up. Joe gets another knee bar and cranking on it but it doesn't phase Jake. What a round!

Rd 3: Jake scores the quick takedown and passes to full mount after a minute. Joe uses the cage to buck Jake off and they are back to their feet. Jake is looking for another takedown and scoops Joe to the mat. He gets it and gets in some ground and pound as the round ends.

Rd 1: Nice back and forth battle of stand up from both fighters.
Lexis 10-9
Rd 2: Right back where we left off. Lexis is the busier fighter so far in this round. Andrew gets in some knees from the clinch. One hits the head and the action is paused. Jacobs with a nice flurry at the end.
Close rounds I give it to Jacobs 10-9
Rd 3: Andrew tries for a takedown but Joe circles out. Joe once again seems like the busier fighter so far. Jacobs is getting in some big counters. Andrew goes for the single leg and gets it. He dodges the triangle attempt and has the side.

Rd 1: Jideo gets the takedown and has the back. Colin slips out and they are back to their feet. Jideo presses Colin up against the cage as the round ends.

Rd 1: Sergei gets the takedown and is in guard. Miguel stands back up and Sergei slams him back down. He is on the back and looking for the rear naked choke. Miguel turns and gets back to his feet. Sergei gets another takedown as the round ends.

Rd 2: Miguel with a nice combo and Sergei gets the takedown. He has the back once again and Miguel turns into it and ends up on top. They are back to their feet and Miguel gets in some big shots. Sergei is trying for another takedown as the round ends.

Rd 3: Miguel gets in a good combo. Sergei wants the takedown and Miguel sprawls. He ends up getting the takedown himself and has the side. Sergei gets some space and grabs the leg as Miguel is trying to stand back up. Miguel gets in another combo and Sergei finishes a takedown.

Rd 4: Miguel wins the stand up exchange and Sergei gets the takedown. Miguel reverses and starts the stand up war. Sergei has seen enough and gets the takedown.

Rd 5: Sergei ducks under a punch and gets the takedown. He takes the back and wants the rear naked choke. He controls the rest of the round on the ground.

Rd 1: Joe gets the takedown and takes the back. He has the neck and decides to go for some ground and pound instead for the ref stoppage.

Rd 1: Casey catches the leg kick and fires two punches to the head. Pat catches another leg kick and punches Navis to the mat. He takes the side and then takes the back. Pat is getting in some heavy ground and pound. The ref lets it go on for a while but Navis is not defending so ref stops the fight.

Rd 1: The feed is running choppy but I will try my best to recap. Zach jumps up for a triangle and it looks tight. They fall to the mat and Zach still has the triangle. Jacob fights it and gets free. Bohn works a couple takedowns and controls the round on top.

Rd 2: Bohn gets the takedown and Zach is holding the knee and looking for the d'arce. He takes the top position briefly until Bohn rolls him. Bohn has a guillotine and is sitting on top. They roll and Zach pops his head off and is now on top. Zach tries for a guillotine of his own and Bohn slips his head free. Bohn is trying for an arm triangle as the round ends.

Rd 3: Both fighters are showing fatigue. Jacob gets the takedown and has the side. He is controlling the fight for a few minutes until Zach gets some space and is trying to stand up. They are back to their feet and swinging. They are both swinging away as the fight ends!! What a fight.

Rd 1: Brendan going right for a takedown. Ras is defending it so far. Second attempt and Brendan gets it. Brendan passes to full mount and dropping heavy hammerfists. Ras weathers the storm and pushes Brendan back to half guard. Brendan gets back into full mount and finishes the round on top.
Battles 10-9
Rd 2: Ras comes forward with a bunch of solid striking and backs Battles to the cage. He has Brendan hurt. Battles goes for a takedown but is stuffed and Ras keeps the punches coming and gets the stoppage.

--THE WRAP UP--
Cage Titans had another stellar show. The fights were very well matched and not a lot of finishes this evening. Props to Tyler Smythe for taking the tough fight with Mitch Raposo. Love his heart and no doubt Smythe will be back stronger than ever. The highlight for me was the Bohn and DiSab back and forth war. Those fighters gave it their all in the cage and it was a pleasure to watch. Another highlight for me was the main event with Ras Hylton surviving Round 1 with Battles on top and coming back in the second round and earning the tko victory. Lastly, I would like to comment on the Hughes/Hixebaugh battle which ended in a no contest. Definitely not the outcome anybody wanted and hopefully they get the chance to run it back when Cage Titans returns on July 22nd!
