PORTLAND, ME (September 1, 2015) – Make room for the big boys! Toe2Toe Fights is pleased to announce a heavyweight-featured bout.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt and Boston BJJ NH owner John Fain (1-0, 1 Submission) of Nashua NH is a life long martial artist. The former standout high school wrestler turned BJJ expert has been the head of New Hampshire’s most dynamic MMA team for almost a decade. Producing multiple New England champions and veterans of the big stage, The 2014 New England MMA “Coach of the Year” (Fain) will take to the cage himself for just the second time.
“I want to fight more, However, I feel selfish gearing training around my needs when I have so many young fighters with incredible potential always in camp. I’m training in off hours for this fight.” Says Fain.
“I’m excited to fight a big guy that can strike and has some Jiu-Jitsu. If I get my hands on him, He wont make it out of the first round. I respect anyone that gets in the cage, and he clearly has many more fights than me but I’m not new to martial arts or fighting. I’ll be prepared for anything he can throw at me.”
Fain’s opponent is a 23 fight MMA veteran. J.A. Dudley (7-16 4 subs) of Plainfield, New Jersey is a journeyman heavyweight fighter with several high-level, nationally recognized fights to his resume. A well-rounded fighter, Dudley’s success has primarily been his submissions and top game. A veteran of over twenty bouts, Dudley has only been submitted twice.
“I love that with one fight he thinks that he can finish someone on my level. I hope he is ready to get ran over and dragged into deep water, drowned…revived…. and sent off with a pat on the back for a good effort!” Says Dudley
Dudley, who walks at 265lbs will hold a solid 25lbs on Fain and has over a decade of cage experience on him as well. “I have established myself as a heavyweight powerhouse on the east coast” “I’m gonna punish him.”
