New England Fight is back with their 29th show on June 17th, 2017.  The show will be held at the Colisee in Lewiston Maine.  This show will be a hybrid show with mma, both pro and amateur action as along with 4 pro boxing bouts.  There is a total of 11 fights in which 4 of them are pro mma fights.  I will only be breaking down the mma portion of the card but at the end of this post will be the boxing lineup.  The doors will be opening at 6pm and the first fight is set to start at 7pm.  Please keep in mind that this might not be the exact fight order.

115 AM Alex Walker (Kaze) 3-1 vs. Sarah Ziehm (CMBJJ) 1-0

At 115 lbs Alex Walker will be taking on Sarah Ziehm for the sole female showdown.  Walker trains with Kaze Dojo and she comes into this fight with a 3-1 record.  She has 2 wins by way of submission and 1 by decision.  For her one loss she lost by a decision to Randi Boyington.  Her opponent is Sarah Ziehm and she trains with Central Maine BJJ.  She comes into this fight with a 1-0 record with 1 win by submission.  Walker has expressed that she does not like Sarah and there is some added heat to this fight.  Both fighters are solid on the ground so this should be an exciting ground battle.

140 AM Glenn Kasabian (Nostos) 1-2 vs. Kam Arnold (CMBJJ)

Next up is Glenn Kasabian taking on Kam Arnold at 140 lbs.  Glenn trains with Nostos and comes into this fight with a 1-2 record.  He won his first fight by ko/tko against Matt Marshall and for his losses, he lost 1 by ko/tko and 1 by decision.  His opponent is Kam Arnold and he trains with CMBJJ.  He will be making his amateur debut.  This should be an exciting fight as both fighters are from excellent schools and I expect it to be a slug fest.

Then Derek Daley will be facing off against Frank Johanson at 145 lbs. Jacob Deppmeyer will be squaring off against Ben Harrington at 150 lbs.  Jacob trains with First Class MMA and comes into this fight with a 1-1 record.  He has 1 win by ko/tko and 1 loss by submission.  He will be looking to pull ahead of an even record of .500 this Saturday.  His opponent is Ben Harrington and he trains with CMBJJ.  Ben will be making his amateur debut.  Jacob has the 2 fight experience in which he will use this to his advantage and Ben will be looking to show he is ready for the 145 lb division.

155 AM TITLE Rafael Velado (First Class) 4-0  vs. Pat Kelly (Young's) 3-0

In the 155 lb division, the champ Rafael Velado will be defending his title against Pat Kelly.  Rafael trains with First Class MMA and has an undefeated record of 4-0.  He has 3 wins by way of submission and 1 win by split decision.  He would love to make it 5-0 and keep that strap.  Standing in his way is Pat Kelly out of Young's MMA.  He also comes into this fight with an undefeated record of 3-0 with 2 wins by ko/tko and 1 by way of submission.  This fight is going to be awesome when these two guys collide.  Both fighters have proven they can finish and I don't see it going the distance.  This one is a fight of the night potential for sure.  Now onto the pro fights!

145 PRO Andre Belcarris (NE Assassins) 0-1 vs. Josh Parker (Ruthless) 5-9

In the co main event Ras Hylton will be taking on Eric Ramsey in the heavyweight division.  Ras trains with First Class and Dragon Fire.  He comes into this fight with a 1-0 record with 1 win by ko/tko against Mike Hansen in his pro debut.  He was undefeated as an amateur with 3 KO/TKO and is looking to continue his winning ways as that is all he knows.  His opponent is Eric Ramsey and he trains with Trinity.  He comes into this fight with an 0-1 record with 1 loss by ko/tko in just 23 seconds into Round 1.  He went 4-1 as an amateur with 3 being KO/TKO.  I think it is safe to say that this fight is definitely going to be ended by a capital KNOCKOUT.  Do not blink on this fight.

There you have the complete breakdown of the New England Fights 29 fight card.  It should be an excellent night of fights so I urge you all if you are in the area or even if you aren't make the trip, it is well worth it.  We drive 3.5 hours there and back all in one day to cover it for you all and we wouldn't be doing that if we didn't think it was worth it.  Special thanks to Matt Peterson and Nick DiSalvo for all that they do and are always hooking us up with press releases and the most up to date fight card.  Massachusetts fans will be busy with Cage Titans going on that night and don't worry we will have that covered too by Todd 'Results' Selva.  Stay tuned for that preview as it will be coming out later this week as well.
