PREMIER FC 26 TEASER 6/16/2018

Premier FC 26

Premier FC returns this Saturday for their 26th installment.  Nothing has changed except this one will be in a new location.  The fights will be held at the Sheraton Monarch Place with the doors opening at 6pm and first fight starting at 7PM.  This card is stacked with 5 amateur fights and 4 of them being title fights.  Then following those are 6 professional fight with lots of staple Premier FC fighters who are now pros!  Right now there is a total of 11 fights but one opponent dropped out so it maybe 11 by the time it happens.  We will have to wait and see but for now, let me break down the card for you all.  Please keep in mind that this might not be the final fight order as it is subject to change.

155 AM Jason Showers 2-7 (Xtreme Ambition)  vs.  Harrison Adamo 2-2 (Ultimate MMA)

In the first fight of the night Jason Showers takes on Harrison Adamo.  Showers trains with Xtreme Ambition and comes into this fight with a 2-7 record.  He has 1 win by ko/tko and 1 win by submission.  For his losses, he lost 5 by ko/tko and 2 by way of submission.  Showers always bring a fast pace to the fight and it will not be boring, I promise you.  His opponent is Harrison Adamo and he trains with Ultimate MMA.  He comes into this fight with a 2-2 record with both wins by way of submission.  For his losses, he lost 1 by ko/tko and 1 by submission.  This will be his 4th time fighting for Premier FC and he is looking to pull above .500.  This fight is going to be a good one as I see it being an action packed battle that will warm the crowd up for a solid night of fights.

145 AM TITLE Arii Fernandes 0-1 (UFC Gym) vs. Randy Francis 2-4 (Strike Zone)

Now we have the first title fight at 145 lbs between Arii Fernandes and Randy Francis.  Arii trains with UFC Gym and comes into this fight with an 0-1 record.  He lost his first fight by ko/tko against Ali Zebian at a former Ammo event.  He is ready to go again to get that first taste of victory.  Standing in his way is Randy Francis from Strikes Zone.  He comes into this fight with a 2-4 record with 1 win by ko/tko and 1 win by decision.  For his losses, he lost 2 by ko/tko and 2 by submission.  Another great battle that should be another close one.

170 AM TITLE Angelo Richardson 3-3 (Golden Falcon)  vs.  Demetrius Plaza 2-0 (Black Hole Jiu Jitsu)

In the second title fight Angelo Richardson will be taking on Demetrius Plaza at 170 lbs.  Angelo trains with Golden Falcon and comes into this fight with a 3-3 record.  In the win column, he has all 3 wins by submission.  For his losses, he lost all 3 by decision including one of them being a very close split decision.  His opponent is Demetrius Plaza and he trains with Black Hole Jiu Jitsu.  Plaza enters the cage with a 2-0 record with 1 win by ko/tko and 1 win by submission.  I see this one being a ground battle and someone will be taking that belt by submission!

185 AM TITLE Yu Ji  2-0 (Radical) vs.  Holland Ahern 1-1 (Strike Zone)

At 185 lbs Yu Ji will be challenging Holland Ahern for the amateur title.  Yu trains with team Radical and comes into this fight with a 2-0 record.  He won one fight by decision and his latest fight by ko/tko.  This will be his 3rd time entering the cage for Premier FC so far in his amateur career.  His opponent is a last minute addition and goes by the name Holland Ahern.  He trains with Strike Zone out of CT and comes into this fight with a 1-1 record.  He won 1 fight by ko/tko kick and lost one by ko/tko punch.  I have not seen Holland fight but it sounds like both of them like to strike so this should be an exciting one!

155 AM TITLE Chris Almestica  2-1 (Team Link) vs.  Billy Goff  3-1 (Dexter MMA)

At 155 lbs Chris Almestica will be challenging Billy Goff at 155 lbs for the title.  Chris is a local guy training with Team Link and comes into this fight with a 2-1 record.  He lost his first fight against Harrison Adamo by submission and has since then won his last two.  He won the first one by ko/tko in a stand up war against Jason Showers and then won his next battle by submission against Austin Schalla.  His opponent is Billy Goff and he trains with Dexter MMA.  Billy comes into this fight with a 3-1 record with 2 wins by ko/tko and 1 win by decision.  His sole loss came by way of submission against Dion Rubio at Cage Titans 36.  I see this one being a stand up battle and is going to a war.

145 PRO Jeremy Reipold  1-0 (Ravenous) vs.  Jason Rine 0-3 (Black Dragon MMA)

In the first pro fight seasoned Premier FC veteran Jeremy Reipold steps into the cage one last time before he retires against Jason Rine.  Reipold trains out of Greenfield, Mass with his team Ravenous.  He comes into this fight with a 1-0 record with 1 ko/tko against Yeison Berdugo.  As an amateur he went 4-3 and has fought every one of his fights for Premier FC.  Now he is ready to take the dance one last time before he retires so you know he isn't going to take this one lightly.  His opponent is Jason Rine who trains with Black Dragon MMA.  He comes into this fight with an 0-3 record with 1 loss by ko/tko and 2 losses by submission.  As an amateur Rine went 4-3 with 3 wins by submission so he is not one to be taken lightly.  This is the first pro fight of the night and with these two guys going at it, I assure you it will not be a boring fight.

125 PRO Hannah Goldy 2-0 (UFC Gym Winter Springs)  vs.  Lisa Blaine 2-1 (Ultimate MMA)

Then for the first female fight of the night Heather Goldy will be facing Lisa Blaine.  Goldy is coming from Florida to put her 2-0 record on the line for Western Mass fight fans.  She has 1 win by ko/tko and 1 win by decision so far in her pro career.  Her opponent is Lisa Blaine and she trains with Ultimate MMA.  Lisa comes into this fight with a 2-1 record with 1 win by ko/tko and 1 win by split decision.  She lost her last fight by decision against Destiny Quinones and is ready to get another win in the win column.  This going to be a very close fight and I see it being a stand up battle.

155 PRO Mike Taylor 0-0 vs. Alex Ortiz 0-0 (Golden Falcon)

Next up is Mike Taylor taking on Alex Ortiz at 155 lbs.  Taylor will be making his pro debut and as an amateur he went 6-19.  He has won his fights by submissions and ko/tkos.  He also lost many of his fights by ko/tko and submission.  His opponent is Alex Ortiz and he trains with Golden Falcon.  He will be making his pro debut and as an amateur he went 5-2.  For his wins he has 1 by ko/tko, 1 by submission and 3 by decision.  For his losses, he lost 1 by ko/tko and 1 by split decision.  I see this one being a ground battle.

180 PRO Jesus Cintron 0-1 vs. Pat Casey 2-0 (Team Link)

Then at 180 lbs Jesus Cintron will fight Western Mass's Pat Casey.  Cintron returns the Premier FC cage with an 0-1 record with 1 loss by ko/tko against Reginaldo Felix at PFC 25.  He is still looking for his first pro win.  His opponent is no stranger to the PFC cage as Pat Casey returns to the PFC cage for the 7th time.  This will be his first time as a pro, representing Team Link and putting his perfect 2-0 record on the line.  He has won both of his pro fights by way of decision.  I see this one as being a ground battle which is right in Casey's wheel house.

105 PRO Grace Nowak 0-0 (Behring Jiu Jitsu NY)  vs.  Marisa Messer-Belenchia 0-0 (Ultimate MMA)

In the second female fight of the night Grace Nowak will be facing Marisa Messer-Belenchia in a double pro debut.  They just fought to a decision at Reality Fighting as an amateur in which Marisa won the decision.  Now they are ready to go at it once again.  Grace trains wtih Behring Jiu Jitsu in NY and as an amateur went 2-6 with both wins by submission.  Her opponent, Marisa trains with Ultimate MMA and as an amateur went 4-1 with 3 wins by decision.  I see this one coming down to a decision once again but what makes this intriguing to me is seeing how the ladies work the elbows in when they are on the ground.

205 PRO William Knight 1-0 (Thornton Martial Arts) vs.  Terrance Jean-Jacques 0-0 (Team Link NH)

The main event will be between William Knight and Terrance Jean-Jacques at 205 lbs.  Knight trains with Thorton Martial Arts and comes into this fight with a 1-0 record.  He is fresh off a ko/tko victory in May at the last Reality Fighting event.  He finds himself in another tough battle with Jean-Jacques.  Terrance trains with Team Link Hooksett and he will be making his pro debut.  He was supposed to go pro at a CES event but that was cancelled so he is more than anxious to get back into the cage.  As an amateur he went 3-0 with 2 wins by decision.  Both these fighters are in tremendous shape and this fight is going to be insane as both of these juggernauts go head to head.  As fan, I want to give a huge thanks to both these fighters for taking these tough fights and not trying to pad their career!
