COMBAT ZONE 74 TEASER 10/29/2021

Combat Zone is back for their 74th show this Friday, October 29th.  This event will be taking place in Manchester New Hampshire at the Double Tree.  The doors will be opening at 5:30pm and the first fight is set to start at 7pm.  This will be a hybrid type show with grappling, kickboxing and then mma.  There are a total of 16 matches so far at the time of this writing.  I hear on Facebook that Tom Pagliarulu will be fighting on the card but I do not know his opponent.  Tickets are still available here so if you plan on attending make sure to get them and also there will be a live PPV stream.  The stream can be found here for $25.  Warchild and I will be making the trip to keep you all up to date with the action.  Please follow along as I break down the mma portion of this card.

170 AM MMA Kyle Hill 1-0 (Nostos MMA) vs Evan Aubrey 1-2 (Defensive Edge) 

In the first mma match up Kyle Hill will be taking on Evan Aubrey in the 170 lb division.  Kyle trains with Nostos MMA and comes into this fight with a 1-0 record.  In the win column he has his 1 win by split decision.  His opponent is Evan Aubrey and he trains out of Defensive Edge.  He comes into this fight with a 1-2 record with his 1 win by unanimous decision.  For his losses, he lost 1 by submission and 1 by decision.  Wow, I haven't seen Evan fight since back in 2014.  I see this one being a great scrap. 

155 AM MMA Joe Movessian 0-0 (Zichelle MMA & Fitness) vs Drew Yeadon 0-0 (Regiment)

Then at 155 lbs Joe Movessian will be squaring off against Drew Yeadon.  Joe trains out of Zichelle  MMA & Fitness and will be making his amateur debut.  His opponent is Drew Yeadon and he trains with Regminent.  He will also be making his amateur debut.  Both of these fighters are from great schools so this one is going to be another fun one to watch.

145 AM MMA Fred Allen Sfeir 0-0 (Renzo Gracie NH) vs Connor Morrill 0-0 (KTA Nashua)

Next up at 145 lbs Fred Sfeir will be facing Connor Morrill.  Fred trains with Renzo Gracie NH and he will be making his amateur debut.  His opponent is Connor Morrill and he trains out of KTA Nashua.  He will also be making his amateur debut.  I see this one being a ground battle.

265 AM MMA Bruce Pacy 0-0 (Limitless Pride Martial Arts) vs Nayou Shar 0-0 (LRVT) 

In the heavyweight division Bruce Pacy will be taking on Nayou Shar.  Pacy trains with Limitless Pride Martial Arts and will be making his amateur debut.  His opponent is Nayou Shar and he trains with LRVT.  He will also be making his amateur debut.  It has been a while since I have seen an awesome heavyweight showdown so I hope both of these guys bring it!!

185 AM MMA Jeff Reynolds 2-1 (KTA Nashua/Triumph BJJ) vs Jideofor Ojukwu 2-1 (Citidel)

At 185 lbs Jeff Reynolds will be squaring off against Jideofor Ojukwu.  Jeff trains with KTA Nashua and Triumph BJJ.  He comes into this fight with a 2-1 record with both wins by ko/tko.  His 1 loss came by a ko/tko.  His opponent is Jideofor Ojukwu and he trains out of Citadel.  He comes into this fight with a 2-1 record with 1 ko/tko and 1 by decision.  For his 1 loss, he lost by ko/tko.  This fight is an excellent match up and I see this one being a stand up war!  I definitely see this one as a potential for fight of the night.

165 PRO MMA Nick Fiore 2-0 (Renzo Gracie NH ) vs Jerome Mickle 3-9 

Then at a catch weight of 165 lbs Nick Fiore returns to the cage against Jerome Mickle.  Nick trains with Renzo Gracie NH and has 1 win by ko/tko and 1 by submission with both of them being to Jay Ellis.  I did not realize he fought the same guy twice but now I know.  Anywho, Nick now has a different opponent to face in his pro career and that is Jerome Mickle.  Jerome comes into this fight with a 3-9 record with 2 ko/tko and 1 decision.  In the loss column, he lost 5 by submission and 4 by decision.  I see this one being settled on the ground and most likely a submission win by Nick Fiore.

185 AM TITLE  Carlton Charles 3-2 vs Spenser Payne 3-0 (Ginsberg MMA)

In the main event Carlton Charles will be facing off against Spenser Payne for the 185 lb Combat Zone amateur title.  Carlton comes into this fight with a 3-2 record with all 3 wins by ko/tko.  For his losses, he lost 1 by ko/tko and 1 by way of submission.  His opponent is Spenser Payne and he trains with Ginsberg MMA.  He comes into this fight with a 3-0 record with 1 ko/tko and 2 submission victories.  Man this fight is going to be a good one!  This one really could go standing or ground battle and I definitely see it as a fight of the night contender!
