Saturday August 24th, 2019; Plymouth, Massachusetts We have arrived and are cage side, fights were due to start around 6 pm but the promotion has announced its going to be closer to 6:30 pm before we get rolling due to the traffic entering Plymouth.

Andy Kurzontkowski did a wonderful job opening the show with his rendition of the National Anthem, not a dry eye in the house. Great Job Sir!




Brian Cosco (4-7) vs. Xavier Cardona (1-1)

Result:
Round 1: Cardona comes out quick and gets taken down by Cosco, Cardona grabs a guillotine and gets slammed empatically by Cosco as Cardona continues to go broke for the choke. Cosco is beating up the body of Cardona but the chokes just gets deeper and forces the tap from Brian Cosco.
Decision: Xavier Cardona defeats Brian Cosco by submission via Guillotine choke at 1:34 of the first round!







Joe Poirier (Debut, SBG East) vs. Josh Welch (0-1, Defensive Edge )
Amateur Flyweight

Result:
Round 1: Fighters touch gloves and Poirier starts the striking exchange and Josh tries to clinch and gets takes down and Poirier lets him back up. The two exchange strikes and Poirier grabs a guillotine and picks Josh up off the canvas and he has no choice but to tap. Poirier does a backflip in the cage in celebration, Poirier looks to be really promising!

Decision: Joe Poirier defeats Josh Welch by submission via Standing Guillotine at 1:06 of the very first round.










Kyle Rutherford (Debut, Recovery Fight House) vs. Andrew Jacobs (Debut, Lauzon MMA)
Amateur 215 pound Catchweight

Result:
Round 1: Rutherford fakes the glove touch and Andrew Jacobs says thank you very much and unleashes a left hook from hell that crumbles Rutherford to the canvas. referee Chris Burke steps in and saves Rutherford from further damage!
Decision: Andrew Jacobs defeats Kyle Rutherford by Knockout (Left Hook) at :08 seconds of the first round!






Justin Stevens (1-1) vs. Adam Bondarenko (1-0)

Result:
Round 1: Bondarenko comes out throwing strikes to close the distance and picks Justin and slams him to the canvas with a power double leg. Stevens has the guillotine on the left side but he lets go and Adam goes to work from the top. Justin grabs a guillotine on the opposite side and once again Adam slams him to the mat and continues with heavy top pressure. Bondarenko picks Stevens up once again and slams him as the wrestling of Bondarenko looks dominant so far. Bondarenko finishes round one on top. 10-9 Bondarenko.
Round 2: Stevens lands a leg kick and Bondarenko again shoots for the takedown, Adam picks Justin up and slams him down infrom of his SSSF corner and goes to work from top control. Bondarenko traps the left arm of Stevens and gets in some short strikes and Stevens looks to shrimp his way out. Bondarenko lands some more short strikes from the top as the round ends. 10-9 Bondarenko.
Round 3: Stevens sterds the third with a body kick that is blockes and Bondarenko shoots, Stevens stuffs the takedown briefly but ends up on his back once again with the heavy Bondarenko once again securely in top control. Bondarenko lands some more short strikes but isn't doing a whole lot to finish the fight from top control. Adam passes to side control and then transitions to the mount. Stevens is keeping Adam close and Bonradenko transitions back to side control as the fight ends. 10-9 Bondarenko.
Decision: Adam Bondarenko defeats Justin Stevens by Unanimous Decision (30-27 x3)

Result:
Round 1: Pete starts the contest with a kick and is taken down by Rubio, Luciani doesn't stay down long but is once again dumped to the canvas by Rubio before once agains getting back to his feet and they stand at striking dirstance and Luciani lands a kick and Rubio lands a jab as they clinch. Luciani breaks the clinch with some kikcs and a right hook as Rubio looks once again to wrestle. Rubio puts Luciani on the cage but he is turned and Rubio lands a heavy combination and grabs a front choke as the round ends. 10-9 Rubio close round!
Round 2: Luciani comes out throwing a head kick and Rubio ties him up and lands some short body shots from the clinch. Rubio has Luciani against the fence applying heavy pressure but Pete escapes and lands a heel pick and has Rubio on the ground but Rubio explodes to his feet and takes Luciani's back as they go to the ground. Luciani rolls out and is now standing above a grounded Rubio as Dion looks for upkicks. With ten seconds left they stand and Rubio lands a powerful takedown to close out the round. 10-9 Rubio but another super close round.
Round 3: Pete comes out once again throwing kicks but they look a lot slower here in the third. Rubio clinches again and goes to work on the body against the cage. Luciani circles out and they return to striking distance and lands a right hook that causes Rubio to tie him up again. Rubio lands short punches and knees on the cage but Luciani turns and now has Rubio's back on the cage before turning again and they seperate. Rubio lands some strikes and Pete returns fire, Rubio shoots for the takedown as the round ends. 10-9 Luciani close round again.
Decision: Dion Rubio defeats Pete Luciani by Split-Decision (29-28 Luciani, 29-28 Rubio, 30-27 Dion Rubio)

Result:
Round 1: Rall comes out with a headkick and in a wild exchange he clinches Kin against the cage and looks for a takedown but Kin turns and lands a Takedown of his own. Rall lands a takedown and has Kin in a d'arce choke attempt but Moy escapes and back Rall into a corner and lands heavy hammerfists and knees for the stoppage.!
Decision: Kin Moy defeats Shawn Rall by TKO at 1:50 of the very first round.

Result:
Round 1: Kam comes out behind a stiff jab and is landing heavy shots early as Joy looks for a takedown and backs out. Arnold lands a heavy leg kick and Jeff shoots again and is stuffed by Arnold. Joy lands a couple leg kicks as Kam uncorks some kicks of his own. Jeff ducks under a right hand of Aronld and gets the takedown and briefly has Kam's back but Kam gets buck up and is greeted with a jab by Joy. Fighters scramble as the round ends. 10-9 Arnold.
Round 2: Kam comes out leading the striking exchanges in round two and he lands a nice right hand to the chin of Joy. Kam lands three straight right hands to Joy's chin and Kam's striking is landing early. Joy lands a perfectly times spinning backfist that rocks Kam and they go to the canvas where Joy ends up on the back of Aronld in the center of the cage. Joy sinks his forearm under the chin of Aronld and puts his hips into the choke and Arnold goes out cold. Referee Chris Burke steps in and stops the bout and Aronld is still out and is wrestling officials as he wakes up.
Decision: Jeff Joy defeats Kam Arnold by technical submission (Rear Naked Choke) at 2:34 of the second round.

Mitch once again gets the back and sinks in the Rear Naked Choke for the quick tap from Yanez.

Raymond backs Giannetti to the cage and looks for the takedown but eats a knee for his struggles as Joe presses Raymond to the cage before returning to center. Raymond comes in with a combinations and Joe Clinches and puts Raymonds back on the cage, Raymond circles out and lands a jab but Joe clinches again. Joe is beating up the body of Raymond on the fence and Keenan starts to crumble and stops defending the strikes of Giannetti. Referee Chris Burke steps in and calls a stop to this one.
Decision: Joe Giannetti defeats Keenan Raymond by TKO at 3:22 of the very first round.

Round 1: Here We Go! Don comes out with a thunderous leg kick to the much lengthier Yong as Don is coming forward with bad intentions. Yong unleashes a combination that gets the attention of the Plymouth Crowd but it is followed by more strikes from Shainis as he continues to close the distance. Don finally gets inside and has Yong on the cage looking for the takedown but Yong stuffs and lands some strikes of his own. Shainis is doing a great job of counter punching with the boxer Yong. Don catches a kick and dumps Yong on the ground and gets the back and is looking for the choke. Yong fights the hands but to no avail as Yong taps to the rear naked choke.
Decision: Don Shainis defeats Roberto Yong by Submission (Rear Naked Choke) at 4:05 of round number one.
