📰TEASER--📰 CAGE TITANS: COMBAT NIGHT III --2/25/2022

Cage Titans is back with their Combat Night III show which is a mixture of grappling, muay thai and mma fights.  There are more than 17 battles on the night which is sure to be a hell of a good time!  The show is this Friday, February 25th and it will be at Plymouth Memorial Hall in Plymouth.  Tickets are still available at the link here.  Also there will be a live stream for $24.99 at the link here.  Mr. Polvere and the entire Cage Titans team has worked hard putting this show together so let me break down the fight card for you all.  This should be the fight order and I will only be breaking down the mma portion.

162 No-GI Superfight Tyler Gauthier (Renzo Gracie NH) vs Aaron Hughes (Regiment)
Hvy No-Gi Superfight Levi Guimaraes (BTT Boston) vs Tyler King (UFC Gym)

130 AM MMA Omar Guerrero (0-0, Citadel) vs Neil Mazumdar (0-1, Sityodtong)

In the first mma fight of the night Omar Guerrero will be taking on Neil Mazumdar at a catchweight of 130 lbs.  Omar trains with Citadel and he will be making his amateur debut.  His opponent is Neil Mazumdar and he trains with Sityodtong.  He comes into this fight with a 0-1 record with 1 draw and 1 loss by ko/tko to strikes.  This is another close battle that I see being a stand up battle.

160 AM Muay Thai Steve Gaudet (0-0, FightZone) vs Julian Connerton (0-0, Evolution Atheltix)
155 GI Superfight Bruno Dias (Juniko) vs Johnny Campbell (SSSF)

Hvy AM MMA Hassan Graham (1-0, G & G) vs Erick Rondan (1-0, UFC Gym)

In a heavyweight showdown Hassan Graham will be taking on Erick Rondan in the amateur division.  Hassan trains with G&G and comes into this fight with a 1-0 record.  He in his only amateur fight against Max Lombardo in an all out war by ko/tko to strikes in Round 3 at Premier FC.  His opponent is Erick Rondan and he trains with UFC Gym.  He comes into this fight with a 1-0 record with his 1 win by an illegal elbow in Round 1 at a Victory Cage show.  This fight is going to be an all out stand up war and definitely worth the price of admission.  You don't want to miss it!

135 AM Muay Thai Tyler Smythe (0-0, Evolution Athletix) vs Avery Andrews (1-0, USMMA)

170 AM MMA Steve Foley (1-2, Citadel) vs Sergei Peresunko (0-0, Loco Lobo)

Then at 170 lbs Steve Foley will be taking on Sergei Peresunko.  Steve trains with Citadel and comes into this fight with a 1-2 record.  In the win column, he won his 1 win by submission.  For his losses, he lost both by ko/tko to strikes.  His opponent is Sergei Peresunko and he trains out of Loco Lobo's gym.  He will be making his amateur debut.  I think this fight will be a stand up battle.

185 No-Gi Superfight Casey LaMonte (Juniko) vs Leon Davis (TriForce)
140 AM Muay Thai Shadi Zachary (1-0, FightZone) vs Michael McDevitt (0-0, Sityodtong)

160 AM MMA  Alvin McLorrain (0-0, GoUSFC) vs Brendan Boates (0-0, SSSF)

At a catch weight of 160 lbs Alvin McLorrain will be taking on Brendan Boates.  Alvin trains with GoUSFC and he will be making his amateur debut.  Brendan Boates trains out of SSSF and he will also be making his amateur debut.  Now Brendan was supposed to fight at the last Cage Titans event but unfortunately his opponent couldn't get cleared so the fight was moved to this event.  Now he is ready to fight again and this time with a different opponent.

Quartet Grappling Competition – Team BTT Taunton vs Team TriForce

185 AM TITLE MMA Jideofor Ojukwu (3-1 Citadel) vs. Lorenzo Fitzgerald (3-1 FAF GYM)

At 185 lbs Jideofor Ojukwu will be challenging Lorenzo Fitzgerald for the Cage Titans title in the amateur division.  Ojukwu trains with Citadel and comes into this fight with a 3-1 record.  In the win column, he won by ko/tko to strikes and 2 by decision.  His 1 loss came by ko/tko to strikes to Yu Ji at a previous Premier FC event.  His opponent is Lorenzo Fitzgerald and he trains with FAF gym.  He comes into this fight with a 3-1 record with 1 ko/tko, 1 submission and 1 win by decision.  His 1 loss came by way of decision.  This fight is going to be insane!  Both of these fighters always go hard in the cage and I think this is going to be a close one.

PRO MMA 205 Daniel Mola (0-0 UFC Gym) vs. Alex Davidson (1-1 Nostos)

For the first professional fight Daniel Mola will be taking on Alex Davidson in the 205 lb division.  Daniel trains with UFC Gym and he will be making his professional debut. As an amateur he went 2-0 with both wins by way of submission.  His opponent is Alex Davidson and he trains with Nostos.  He comes into this fight with a 1-1 record with 1 win by americana and 1 loss by decision.  This fight should be a back and forth ground battle.

PRO 155 MMA Leo Ladeira (0-3 Sityodtong) vs. Jay Ellis (16-102 Schaffer MMA)

At 155 lbs Leo Ladeira will be taking on Jay Ellis.  Leo trains with Sityodtong and he comes into this fight with an 0-3 record with 1 loss by ko/tko, 1 by submission and 1 by decision.  He is still hungry for his first mma win.  His opponent is Jay Ellis and he trains with Schaffer MMA.  He comes into this fight with a 16-102 record with the majority of his wins by submission.  He lost the majority of his losses by submissions as well.  When Jay last fought in New England he shocked everyone with a stunning submission win over Rodrigo Almeida.  He would love to continue that streak this Friday.  This is another great match up from Mike Polvere and it should be fun to watch.

PRO MMA 155 Rob Ovalle (0-0 Lauzon) vs. Jay Bakanowski (3-3 Gorilla Martial Arts)

Next up at 155 lbs Rob Ovalle will be facing off against Jay Bakanowski.  Ovale trains with Lauzon MMA and will be making his pro debut.  As an amateur he went 5-2 with 2 submission wins and 3 decisions victories.  His opponent is Jay Bakanowski and he trains with Gorilla Martial Arts.  Jay comes into this fight with a 3-3 record with 2 ko/tko victories and 1 win by submission.  For his losses, he lost 1 by ko/tko to strikes and 2 by decisions.  Jay has lots of experience in the cage as a pro but he hasn't fought since 2016.  I think this is going to be an excellent back and forth battle and I see it going the distance.

PRO MMA 165 Stephen Stengel (Independent 4-16) vs. Zach DiSabatino (8-2 SSSF)

In the main event Stephen Stengel will be taking on Zach DiSabatino at 165 lbs.  Stengel is an independent fighter with a record of 4-16 with 3 by ko/tko and 1 by submission.  For his losses, he lost 7 by ko/tko and 9 by submission.  His opponent is Zach DiSabatino and he trains with SSSF.  He comes into this fight with an 8-2 record with 4 ko/tko, 3 submission and 1 win by decision.  For his losses, he lost 1 by ko/tko and 1 by decision.  Now Zach was originally set to fight Aaron Lacey but he was a little banged up from his last fight and was unable to fight this soon.  Thankfully, Stephen Stengel stepped up to the plate on last minute notice to save this fight.  I do see Zach winning this one pretty easily by ko/tko to strikes in Round 1.
