If you were paying attention, we featured this kid in our last installment of Roll With The Pro and we warned you to watch out for him!! So over the weekend there was a NAGA competition held at the Mass Mutual Center in Springfield, MA. I have scoured over facebook and found some results for you all.
Ramos is only 17 years old and he won Gi and No Gi in teens Expert division. Also he competed in adult expert division and he won 2nd place No Gi and 1st place with Gi. Also to note that in the final match with Gi he submitted a purple belt and he is a blue belt. He competed just for GLADIATOR BJJ and he will debut in MMA in 3 months and he will do all at a young age of 18 years old!!! I have seen this kid grapple first hand and he is awesome so keep your eyes peeled for him. Perhaps we will will see his amateur debut at PFC 7 in November at the Mullins Center!! We can all dream right??
On another note Sarah Payant for Team Ravenous took second place at NAGA. Great job Sarah!! Sarah has been working real hard on her training and I am glad to see her be successful at NAGA. Excellent!!
For other results that I have found are Nate Nadeau—2nd place, Joe Westbury-- 2nd place, Jason Vargas 1st Place No Gi and 2nd Place with Gi, Mario Di Natale-2nd place Gi and 2nd place No Gi, Joshua Leveille 3rd place No Gi.
