AFO has confirmed that their upcoming July 21st show that was going to be held in Braintree MA has been postponed. They said they would return in October for their Halloween Havoc show. It was under suspicion to many people that they were going to cancel this show due to their webpage being down. One thing is for certain is that they are not done and will be back. They are changing some things and adding some new faces. Congrats to all the new people to the AFO team and we wish them the best of luck.
Last but not least CES has just signed WWE star Dave Bautista to the October 6th show. He is one of the many WWE stars to cross over into the world of mixed martial arts. He is set to make his professional debut. Warchild and I are very excited about this!! This is a huge deal for CES MMA because it was announced on TMZ and on top mixed martial arts sites such as MMAJunkie.com. According to MMAJunkie they are saying it will be in the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, RI and his opponent will be Rashid Evans. No, not Rashad Evans, Rashid! Rashid will be making his professional debut as well and has lost his last two amateur fights.
Also don't forget this Sunday is the third New England Open at Springfield Central High School. It is a great way to improve your jiu jitsu and try to win a trophy! For more information read our previous article here.
