HOLIDAY INN

“The Review”
By
Todd “Results” Selva

I arrived at the Holiday Inn to see a brand new cage set up. The place was pretty empty at this point as Reep and I were there early to meet with Joe “the artist” Leonard.  Joe and his crew were performing the video portion of this show. There are plenty of  mma gear vendors set up around the outer perimeter of the room. There is also a bar and  food concession set up inside the venue. This place is in a great location just off the  highway, easy access from anywhere. It took us just over one hour to get there from  Greenfield, Ma.  The venue starts to fill up with fighters, managers, teams, promoters, fight fans, etc. I am seated cageside compliments of Pete Dilorenzo. The national Anthem is led by a fighter who played it on his electric guitar. Unfortunately I did not catch the fighters name, but I must mention this as it is a first for me to witness. The venue goes black as all the lights are shut down. The D.J. opens the night with a lightshow that is very impressive. The sound quality of the music he is playing is spectacular. I am eager to get this show on the road as I confirm that there are indeed 16 fights on the card.
