JT vs. JC - Combat Zone 52 Amateur Welterweight Title Fight

[Combat Zone Press Release]

Nick “JC” Alley (Pembroke, N.H.) and JT Harold (North Andover, Mass.) will be squaring off January 30th, 2015 at Combat Zone 52 on January 31st at Rockingham Park in Salem, New Hampshire. Combat Zone will be introducing their Welterweight Amateur Title Belt at Combat Zone 52, where Alley (2-1) and Harold (4-1) will duel it out for the honor.

Harold’s last time in the cage was at Combat Zone 48 last April, where he defeated 7-1 Brett Trahan via first round TKO. Harold holds an impressive resume, where he holds victories against current professionals Ricky Sylvester and Cheyenne Vazquez. Harold showed the Combat Zone crowd he has one punch, knockout power at CZ42 in 2012, where he knocked Vazquez out with a straight right hand delivered to Vazquez’s jaw. Harold’s lone defeat came at the hands of Alley’s teammate, Paul Gaffney. This will be Harold’s first bout after leaving Spero’s Martial Arts Academy in Plaistow, New Hampshire for Sityodtong USA located in Somerville, Massachusetts.

Alley’s most recent MMA competition was at Combat Zone 49 in June, where he choked out Duncan Zachariah-Smith in the second round. Alley has experienced a great amount of bad luck since starting his MMA career in 2011, experiencing five fizzled bouts. Alley’s defeat was due to a disqualification against Justin Borazeck, which leveled his record at 1-1. Back in 2011, “JC” started off his career with a bang getting a TKO against Roberto Santiago just 38 seconds into the first round at Combat Zone 37. Alley trains with and will be representing Team Link Hooksett.

Combat Zone 52 features an all-amateur card with two amateur title fights, including Alley vs. Harold, and where Jake Pilla will defend his featherweight title for the second time and the first time in 2015.
