Bellator 185: Mousasi vs. Shlemenko Live Review

I arrived at Mohegan Sun Casino at 3:30 and made my way to the Hotel lobby where I set up my charging station and started to work on my on my write up for tonight's event. Upon walking into the Hotel Lobby I met Heather Hardy...This is usually a great place to be able to meet fighters before they make their way to the arena. I am currently waiting for Stephen Dominico from Dominico101 to arrive so we can continue these shenanigans. Keep updating this post through out the night in order to follow my Bellator 185 experience. I am overwhelmingly excited for this fight night and I will do my best to keep all of our fans up to date!

Main Card:

Gegard Mousasi v. Alexander Shlemenko 185 lbs

Mousasi and Shlemenko go to war in the Main Event, a back and forth battle and the judges give the nod to Mousasi (29-28 all 3 cards) and the crowd errupts in boos they do not agree with the decision.


Neiman Gracie v. Zak Bucia 170 lbs

Neiman Gracie spends the better part of 2 rounds on tje back of Zak Bucia eventually getting the tap at 2:27 of round 2 via neck crank.

Heather Hardy v. Kristina Williams 125 lbs.

Kristina Williams picks apart former boxing champion Heather Hardy on the feet earning a second round stoppage in a bloody display. Doctor calls for the stoppage at 2 minutes of the second round!
