NEF 21 EVENT REVIEW 2/6/2016

We made it in just the nick of time after checking into our hotel.  The fight fans are packing in and ready for some fights.  Now if you look at the fight card you can see NEF has switched the order with the fight fans and fighters in mind.  They are doing many of the big fights earlier and then they will have some post-lim fights so if you enjoy this format make sure you comment below or on their fanpage so they see it.  Now this is a mixed martial arts and a boxing event all in one.  One of the ring girls and her twin sister sang the national anthem and it was awesome.  No I can say I have seen a singing ring girl...pretty awesome.  Gotta give a shoutout to one of my NEF friends Toby York who is of course Team Boyington and always in the VIP spots.  The host tonight is the voice, Pete Czymbor who if you have been paying attention to our site was also hosting Combat Zone last night.  Follow along as we recap the night.

FIGHT OF THE NIGHT:  Boyington vs. Lemke without a doubt.
SUB OF THE NIGHT:  Brandon Warne and the spectacular guillotine over Norman Fox
KO/TKO OF THE NIGHT:  Alex Henry KO over Tripp, out of nowhere!

New England Fights had another successful show.  Every event they try to up their quality and improve their show.  This show they added a livestream for the fans who live farther away and a tshirt gun.  Also they added more lighting for the boxing ring which if you couldn't tell was much easier to see for the fans and also in our photos.  They announced that their next event will be on April 23rd at the Colisee.  NEF also did an awesome job at not having any easy fights, all of this card was well evenly matched.  It was evident that every fighter in the cage trained hard and they were taking fighting seriously.  Another thing that I really liked and it sounded like the fans enjoyed is the way they ran the fight order.  They left some of the amateurs which they called post-lims for the end of the night.  Many of the crowd of course left by then and it was quieter but it made sure people were there early for the first 15 fights and that they were awake for the meat of the card!  I hope you all enjoyed our review and photos and as always stay right here as we keep you up to date on all the happenings in New England.  Quick shoutout and thanks to NEF and their lovely hospitality.  I conclude this review with a photo of the NEF ring girl and the tshirt gun!
