Middleweight Denis Kang has penned a four-fight deal with the UFC, the American Top Team announced Monday.
Kang is best known for his seven-fight stint with PRIDE where he defeated the likes of Andrei Semenov, Akihiro Gono, Murilo “Ninja” Rua and Amar Suloev in 2005-2006. Kang reached the finals of the 2006 PRIDE 183-pound Grand Prix but fell short of winning the title when he lost a split decision to Kazuo Misaki.
