On Saturday, July 23 rd, Western Massachusetts will become a vortex of LIVE MMA action as New England's skilled and dedicated Mixed Martial Arts Fighters enter the cage and do battle right inside the Hu Ke Lau Showroom! Warrior Nation Xtreme Fighters Alliance brings you “Return of the Warriors” with a very special night of LIVE Pro and Amateur MMA fights! The Hu Ke Lau showroom encompasses a unique climate controlled “while they fight” polynesian dining experience with fully tiered table seating and there's not a bad seat in the house! Fighters, this is YOUR spot to show family, friends, and fans the upclose and personal side of your sport in a great setting!




The cage fight-night atmosphere at the Hu Ke Lau is sure to be intense and if you like MMA, you're going to LOVE this!! Get yourself geared up for an outstanding evening with a night of caged MMA fights, our gorgeous cage girls, fine polynesian dining, and a full drink menu and then keep it going with the post-fight after party at Maximum Capacity & DJ Fooz! Zach Lynch of MMA Photography will be capturing all the action and Veteran Ring Announcer, Bill Carpenter, will be handling all the fighter intros, announcements, and special features. Bill Bell, A.K.A. DJ Adapt is on point as the sound man pumping the air full of motivation as the fighters make their entries and our special guest for the evening is UFC Welterweight Fighter, John “Doomsday” Howard who will be available for a meet and greet session. Warrior Nation Xtreme Fighters Alliance has a special fundraising mission for this show and is calling on the local MMA community to show their support and help make the evening a huge success. With the WNXFA addition of “Notorious” Nick Newell as matchmaker, a discussion about close friend and team mate, the late Abimael “Abi” Mestre, set forth a clear and worthy goal. Abi, a pro mma fighter, instructor at Fighting Arts Academy, and accomplished wrestler, had drive and motivation to succeed and be the best and educators say that while difficult at times, Abi always maintained his grades in order to stay acedemically eligible to compete. With his sudden and tragic departure on April 11, 2011, we looked at his drive and determination, and decided that a wrestling scholarship would be established in Abi’s name for high school graduates who will carry the name in good faith while meeting specified criteria. This event will start with live fights at the Hu Ke Lau, with doors opening at 6:00 PM and a portion of proceeds will be utilized and matched to start a scholarship fund. Post-fight after party is a continuation with all the action rolling over to Maximum Capacity Sports Bar and Night Club where monies are also being raised in conjunction with this event. There will be free admission to MaxCap with your fight admission stub or wristband. As always, we will be holding a 50/50 raffle with all the proceeds going towards this same great cause! There you have it folks.  We will be having two great MMA events in Western Mass this summer.  This is a solid card with alot of great locals on it.  Adel Lolic is no stranger to Western Mass fighting on the last Premier FC card.  It features #2 ranked 135lber according to Northeastmma.net Colton Blanchette who always puts on an entertaining fight!  Somebody please step up and fight Fran Collins!!  I am not very familiar with Buffalo Training Center so I am excited to see what they got!!  See you all there!!
