Premier FC 13 Continued: Bouts 3 and 4

Today we've got a couple of fights that brought the fans to their feet for sure.  I was excited to see Justin Kristie finally make his way back into the cage after his controversial victory last year at Warrior Nation III in April 2012.  He's a very exciting fighter and has tremendous heart.  Hence the nickname "Cardiac Kid".  Ian McEwan is no slouch so here we have two fighters that love to leave it in the cage. Then we've got the fourth bout of the event between two fighters I know well and have tremendous respect for.  Mike Tabor and I stepped into the Warrior Nation cage in opposite corners.  Although I started out strong it was Mike's calm and collected game that paid big that night.  He caught me in an armbar in the 1st round.  It was a loss that felt like a win in my book.  Glad to have been in there with such a genuine fighter.  His opponent in the following video is George Wilson of Gladiator BJJ in West Springfield.  George and I have had occasion to roll more than once and I loved seeing him bring my friend and mentor's techniques to life in the cage.  Gabriel is the genuine article bringing his Jiu-Jitsu from the place of it's origin to our small community here in Western Mass.  It was an honor and a privilege to film his student.  Now onto the fights...
