BREWSTER, WHEELER READY TO RUMBLE AT ‪#‎CES37‬

[CES Press Release]

Marquis Brewster is looking to shed his “hot prospect” label when he returns to the ‪#‎CESMMA‬ cage at #CES37 versus Timothy Wheeler at Twin River Casino on August 12.

And the well-rounded ‪#‎Providence‬ product knows the best way to move up the CES MMA ladder in a hurry: Finish his opponents in style.

“Absolutely. I’m looking to establish my name, especially with this fight in August, and I’m looking for a big finish. It’s great to win fights, which is what I’m doing, but everyone loves stoppages and that’s the best way to move up and eventually get that CES MMA title shot. I’m going to put on a show, finish my opponent, and I can’t wait,” said Brewster, an apprentice to CES MMA Lightweight Champion Luis Felix.
But standing in Brewster’s way is Wheeler, a hard-hitting ‪#‎NewYork‬ product who’s making his CES MMA debut.
Wheeler doesn’t care about any prospect in ‪#‎NewEngland‬, he says. But he’s excited to spoil Brewster’s coming-out party in front of his supporters.

“I went all the way to ‪#‎Hawaii‬ to steal the show before. It was fun, and I’ll be doing it again -- just a little closer to home this time,” said Wheeler with a laugh. “I’m going to put my opponent away and spoil all his fans’ fun.”

CES MMA 37 also features three CES MMA Championship bouts: ‪#‎Woonsocket‬’s Andre “The Asian Sensation” Soukhamthath collides with ‪#‎Boston‬’s Kin “Kong” Moy for the Bantamweight Championship, ‪#‎Hartford‬’s Matt “The Mangler” Bessette squares up with ‪#‎Gloucester‬’s Pedro “The Beast” Gonzalez for the Featherweight Championship, and #Providence's Greg “Ribz” Rebello throws down with ‪#‎Arizona‬'s Ashley “Gio” Gooch, for the Heavyweight Championship.
