Today’s trip to Twin River Casino was bittersweet for the Full Contact couple, we have had an awesome year covering the CES promotion, attending all six events here at Twin River and tonight is the final fight card of 2017. We have seen a ton of fights under this roof this calendar year and are extremely excited for the final eight fights here at CES 47 tonight. As one fight season comes to a close we cannot help but speculate about the excitement ahead in 2018 and beyond for this cast of CES fighters that have become like an extended family to me and my wife. We would love to thank every fighter that made 2017 and incredible experience for us and would like to wish continued success to all the fighters we had the opportunity to cover this year. We are down to just eight more fights before we hang up our laptop for the for the holiday season and as always we will bring them to you live and up to the minute as CES 47 goes down from Twin River tonight starting live at 7pm with a main card live on AXS TV at 9pm. Round 1: Here We GO! James lands first and goes for the takedown and Yorgan sidesteps the takedown, throws Dysard to the mat and gets his back and lands 20 or so unanswered hammerfists and gets the stoppage.

Official Decision: Yorgan De Castro defeats James Dysard via TKO at :39 seconds of round one!


Tyler Hamilton (Debut) v. Montoyia Swilling (0-9)

Round 1: Swilling starts with a jab and Tyler wraps him up and goes for the takedown but can't finish, Montoyia turns Tyler and puts him against the cage. They break and Montoyia swings wildly and fall to the canvas and catches a left hook from Hamilton on the way down. Hamilton follows Montoyia to the ground and sinks in a deep d'arce choke for the tap.

Round 1: Taylor comes out with some long jabs and lands a nice leg kick. Jose closes the distance and puts Taylor on the fence and works the trip for the takedown. Taylor gets back up but not for long before Lugo dumps him again. Lugo works his way to mount and is landing some short elbows. Taylor gives up his back and Lugo looks for the Rear Naked Choke but Taylor defends. Lugo gets his back once again and this time locks in a Rear Naked Choke that draws the tap from Taylor.

Official Decision: Jose Lugo defeats Michael Taylor by submission Rear Naked Choke at 3:33 of the first round.

Round 1: Fighters do not touch gloves. David comes out swinging and lands a leg kick. Kris comes forward and lands a combo. Garcia turns the corner on a takedown and has Kris on the mat. Kris gets back to his feet and looks to strike. A headkick almost gets through for Moutinho , Kris picks David up off the mat and brings him to his corner where he slams him down. Garcia gets ahold of Kris' neck and sinks in a deep guillotine that causes Kris to tap out.

Round 1: Fighters touch gloves and here we go. Trader throws some strikes to test the distance and Douma grabs the Thai plum and pushes Trader back to the cage. They break and Douma goes for a takedown but is stuffed. Trader backs out and Douma comes forward with a heavy barrage of punches that rock Trader, Kevin Mulhall lets Trader take a couple more shots before he stops the fight!

Official Decision: John Douma defeats Mark Trader at 2:02 of the first round by TKO.

Round 1: Richie starts with a quick takedown and works in Shawn's guard. Shawn grabs a guillotine with his right arm but Richie escapes and is working from the top. Richie postures up and lands some shots as Mack continues to defend from his back. Mack goes for the high guard and looks to lock up a triangle but Richie escapes and has Mack mounted. Mack turns to give up his back and Richie sinks in a deep Rear Naked Choke that draws the tap from Mack.

Round 1: Nate starts with an outside leg kick and then a kick up the middle and another outside leg kick for good measure. Combs throws a haymaker that doesn't land but closes distance and he has Nate on the fence. Nate uses a whizzer the throw Combs to the mat where he is in side control landing elbows, Combs gives up his back and with a little work Nate sinks in the Rear Naked Choke for the tap.

Round 1: Lewis starts with a leg kick and both fighters are feeling out the distance. Rebello lands a huge overhand left that crumbles Brown to the canvas, Greg follows up with some ground and pound but it was the left hand that finished him.
