New England Fights returns this Friday on November 3rd, 2017. This will be their 31st installment and it will be at a new location that they have secured. The show will be held at Club Aura located in Portland Maine. The venue I am told has great lighting and sound but is much smaller than the Colisee. I am anxious to check it out myself for the first time this Friday. They have a total of 15 fights which include 3 amateur title fights and 2 pro fights. The doors open at 6pm and the first fight is set to start at 7pm. Please follow along as I break down the fight card in its entirety. Also keep in mind that this will be the exact fight order of tomorrow night.

Danae Dostie will be facing Jayda Bailey at 135 lbs. Danae trains with Kenney's and she will be making her amateur debut. Her opponent is Jayda Bailey and she trains with Young's MMA. She will also be making her amateur debut. Jayda is well known up in Maine as she was very popular in high school wrestling and in grappling tournaments. I, for one am excited to see her make her amateur debut at just days after her 18th birthday.
135 AM Sarah Matulis 0-0 (Outlet) vs Chelsea Elizabeth 0-0 (First Class)
Then at 135 lbs Sarah Matulis is facing off against Chelsea Elizabeth. Sarah trains with Outlet MMA and will be making her amateur debut. Her opponent is Chelsea Elizabeth and she trains with First Class. She will also be making her amateur debut. If you are keeping track this will be the 3rd amateur female fight on the night but there is still one more coming later on. Both of these girls are fresh to amateur mma so who knows what we will expect and to me that makes it exciting.
175 AM Carlton Charles 1-0 (Charles Family) vs Mark Gardner 0-0 (Academy)
Then at 175 lbs Carlton Charles will be taking on Mark Gardner. Charles trains with the Charles Family and comes into this fight with a 1-0 record. He won his first fight in a big way with a slugfest with a ko/tko win in just 23 seconds against Josh Jones. He would love another quick finish this Friday. His opponent is Mark Gardner and he trains with the Academy. He will be making his amateur debut. I don't see this one being any different but an action packed stand and bang fight.

In the next fight Garry Carr will be taking on David Hart. Carr trains with CMBJJ in Maine and will be making his amateur debut. His opponent is David Hard and he trains with Kenney's. He steps into this fight with an 0-1 record with his one loss by a split decision back in 2015 at a previous NEF event.
