PREMIER FC 25 TEASER 3/10/2018

Premier FC 25

Premier FC returns with their 25th installment this Saturday at the beautiful Chez Josef in Agawam Mass.  Karyn Wesch has been working hard keeping it all together and she graciously shared the fight card with us.  There is a total of 12 fights and the main and co main event are both female fights!  How exciting is that??  There will also be ring girls and yes, a ring boy for the female bouts.  Make sure you get your tickets as this show is sure to sell out.  The doors will be opening at 6pm and the first fight is set to start at 7pm.  Warchild and I will be making the trip to cover all the action for you all so make sure you come say Hi!  Let me break down the fight card for you all.  Keep in mind this might not be the exact fight order but it should be close.

180 AM Anthony Benevides 1-0 (Ultimate MMA) vs. Nick Fernandez 0-0 (Battlecrew)

The first fight is between Anthony Benevides and Nick Fernandez at a catch weight of 180 lbs.  Anthony trains with Ultimate MMA and comes into this fight with a 1-0 record.  He won his first fight by submission in Round 1 back in 2014.  Now he is ready to get back into the cage once again in 2018.  His opponent is Nick Fernandez and he trains out of Battlecrew.  He will be making his amateur debut.  Very close fight should make for a solid battle.

155 AM Austin Schalla 2-9-(Dexter MMA) vs. Chris Almestica 1-1 (Team Link)

Next up is Austin Schalla against Chris Almestica at 155 lbs.  Schalla trains out of CT with Dexter MMA and steps into this fight with a 2-9 record.  He has 1 win by ko/tko and 1 win by submission.  For his losses, he lost 1 by submission and 8 by decision.  His opponent is Chris Almestica and he trains with Team Link.  He comes into this fight with a 1-1 fight with 1 win by ko/tko.  His one loss was by submission to Harrison Adamo at a previous Premier FC show.  This should be a solid back and forth battle.

130 AM Kevin Braga 0-0 (SSSF) vs. Blaze Robinson 0-2 (Team Ravenous)

Then Kevin Braga will be taking on Blaze Robinson at 130 lbs.  Braga trains out of South Shore Sportsfighting and will be making his amateur debut.  His opponent is Blaze Robinson and he trains out of Greenfield, Mass with Team Ravenous.  He comes into this with an 0-2 record with 2 losses by decision.  Both fighters are ready for a war so this should be another awesome back and forth fight.

155 AM Billy Goff 1-1 (Dexter MMA) vs. Harrison Adamo 2-1 (Ultimate MMA)

Then at 155 lbs Billy Goff will be challenging Harrison Adamo.  Goff trains out of Dexter MMA and comes into this fight with a 1-1 record.  He has 1 win by ko/tko and 1 loss by submission.  This will be his 3rd time stepping into the cage and his first time fighting for Premier FC.  His opponent is Harrison Adamo and he trains with Ultimate MMA.  He comes into this fight with a 2-1 record with both wins by way of submission.  His only loss came by way of submission against Miguel Cuevas at a previous Premier FC.  Both of these fighters are solid on the ground so I see this one being a ground war.

185 AM Jideofor Ojukwu 1-0 (SSSF) vs. Yu Ji 1-0 (Radical)

At 185 lbs Jideofor Ojukwu will be taking on Yu Ji.  Jideofor trains out of SSSF and steps into this fight with a 1-0 record.  He won his first fight by decision against Ron Marshall at a previous PFC show.  His opponent is Yu Ji and he trains out of Radical.  He comes into this fight with a 1-0 record with a decision win over Josh Jones.  Both fighters have identical records so this should be another close battle.

145 AM Justin Kristie  2-2 (Ultimate MMA) vs.  Kenny Champion 2-3 (Golden Falcon)

At 145 lbs Justin Kristie steps into the cage against Kenny Champion.  Kristie trains with Ultimate MMA and comes into this fight with a 2-2 record.  In the win column, he has both wins by way of submission.  For his losses, he has 1 by ko/tko and 1 by decision.  His opponent is Kenny Champion and he trains with Golden Falcon.  He comes into this fight with a 2-3 record with both wins by way of the fist. For his losses, he 1 by ko/tko, 1 by submission and 1 by decision.  Both of these fighters are tough as hell and Kristie I see wanting to get this fight to the mat.  Kenny will want to keep this fight standing and work his hands to tire out Kristie.

165 AM Jason Showers  2-6 (Xtreme Ambition) vs.  Aaron Reverdes 1-1 (Juniko)

In the last amateur fight of the night Jason Showers takes on Aaron Reverdes.  Showers trains out of Xtreme Ambition MMA & Fitness in Endicott, New York and comes into this fight with a 2-6 record.  In the win column, he has 1 win by ko/tko and 1 win by submission.  For his losses, he lost 4 by ko/tko and 2 by submission. His opponent is Aaron Reverdes and he trains out of Juniko.  He comes into this fight with a 1-1 record with 1 win by ko/tko and 1 loss by ko/tko.  This is going to an awesome battle and I see this one being a stand and bang war as both of these fighters are known to!

155 PRO Alex Ortiz  0-0 (Golden Falcon) vs.  Keenan Raymond 3-5  (Ricardo Calvacanti)

In the first pro fight of the night Alex Ortiz takes on Keenan Raymond.  Ortiz trains out of CT with Golden Falcon and he will be making his pro debut.  As an amateur he went 5-2 with 1 ko/tko, 1 submission and 3 by decision.  Ortiz is a very well rounded fighter who can be dominant anywhere this fight goes.  His opponent is Keenan Raymond and he trains with Ricardo Calvacanti.  He comes into this fight with a 3-5 record 1 by ko/tko, 1 by submission and 1 by decision.  For his losses, he lost 3 by ko/tko and 2 by way of submission.  Keenan has the fight experience in this one and he will be trying to use that to control the fight.  Ortiz will be more than ready to answer I am sure.

185 PRO Jesus Cintron 0-0 vs. Reginaldo Felix 2-2 (Team Link)

Then at 185 lbs Jesus Cintron will be challenging Reginaldo Felix.  I was not able to find out much info about Jesus but I believe this is his first time stepping into the cage.  His opponent is Reginaldo Felix and he trains out of Team Link.  He comes into this fight with a 2-2 record with both wins by ko/tko.  His two losses came by decision in his first two fights.  He is on a 2 fight win streak and PFC fans will remember his last fight against Mike Hansen when he kept hammering away at Hansen's leg and won the fight that way.  It is hard to predict this one but Felix has looked solid in his first two fights in the USA.

170 PRO Rodolfo Barcellos 0-0 (Xtreme Ambition) vs. Myles Reid 0-2

Next up is a 170 lb fight between Rodolfo Barcellos and Myles Reid.  Rodolfo trains with Xtreme Ambition and will be making his pro debut.  His opponent is Myles Reid and he steps into this fight with an 0-2 record.  He lost both of this fights by ko/tko to strikes.  I think this is another good fight and very even on paper so we will have to see how this one plays out.

120 PRO Lisa Blaine 2-0 (Ultimate MMA)  vs.  Destiny Quinones 0-0 (Kai's Next Level MMA)

In the co main event Lisa Blaine will be taking on Destiny Quinones at 120 lbs.  Blaine trains with Ultimate MMA and comes into this fight with an undefeated record of 2-0.  She won her first fight by by brutal ko against Tammy Worrick and then won her Bellator debut by split decision.  Now she is ready to put her undefeated record on the line again against Quinones.  Destiny will be making her much awaited pro debut and she trains out of Kai's Next Level MMA.  As an amateur she has fought all over New England and had a 5-11 record with 2 ko/tko and 3 by decision.  For her losses, she lost the majority of them by submissions and decision.  This fight is going to be awesome and definitely a contender for fight of the night as both of these ladies love to put on a show!!

135 PRO Jessica Borga 0-0 (Champions) vs.  Sarah Payant 2-4 (Gladiator BJJ)

In the main event Jessica Borga is ready to fight Sarah Payant at 135 lbs.  Borga trains with Champions out of Florida and she will be making her pro debut.  As an amateur she went 6-4 with 3 by ko/tko, 1 by submission and 2 by decisions.  She has fought in many tough wars and is not traveling north from Florida to come back home with a loss.  Standing in her way is a fighter from Western Mass who PFC fans know very well, Sarah Payant.  She trains with Gladiator BJJ and comes into this fight with a 2-4 record with both of her wins by way of submission.  For her losses, she lost 1 by ko/tko, 2 by submission and 1 by decision.  Payant will be the home crowd favorite and she will be using that and her fight experience to win this one.  Borga will be looking to bring it and control this fight to silence the crowd.  You are all in for a real treat fight fans on this one!
