NEF is back tonight with their 54th show since its existence. They went old school and put together a hybrid boxing/grappling and mma event stacked with 23 fights which is sure to please any fight fan. The show is being held at the beautiful Merrill Auditorium in Portland Maine and the event is set to kick off at 5PM. Please follow along as I try my best to keep up with all the action. --THE WRAP UP--
What a great night of combat sports action courtesy of NEF. This card was very well matched and there wasn't an easy fight. Well, I do think the boxing had a few mismatches but the MMA portion was stellar. The production was very well done and the stream worked beautifully. A few audio glitches and the announcer's audio could have been a little louder nothing but those are minor in the scheme of things. One other highlight is there was almost a 24th fight in the cage between Ascension and Evolution Athletix at the end of the Smythe/Norton battle. NEF returns on November 11th to Bangor Maine at the Cross Insurance Center. There hasn't been any official fight announcement yet but it is called Glory Days so maybe you can guess one rumored fighter!
