Bellator 63 Is Stacked With Massachusetts Locals

Bellator 63 which is set to take place on March 30th 2012 in CT at Mohegan Sun Casino is stacking their show with some all star locals from Massachusetts.  These fights will be on the undercard of the show so most likely won't be aired on MTV2 or EPIX but that does not mean that we all can't cheer them on at the casino live!!  We broke the news last week that Brandon Fleming was fighting on the card and is taking on P.J. Rogers.  Well to find out, he is not the only local fighter on this card.

Randy Smith at last AFO show in January.
Randy "The Wolf" Smith who is currently the AFO Heavyweight Professional champion is set to take on Parker Porter.  Randy faced Parker Porter back in 2008 and lost a decision at Combat Zone 25.  The 37 year old is pumped and ready for the rematch.  Parker Porter who has a record of 5-3 and whose only three losses are to Jon Jones of UFC, Gabriel Gonzaga in UFC and Gabriel Salinas-Jones will be prepared for a war I am sure.  Randy Smith just recently fought last week at Ring of Combat in New Jersey.  He took the fight on short notice and unfortunately was submitted via a heel hook early in round 1. I can't wait for this one because I know both fighters have improved tremendously since 2008 and I highly doubt this one will go to decision again!!

Almeida his last fight at CES February 3rd, 2012
Next we have Matt "The Mangler" Bessette who is currently 7-3 facing off with Saul "The Spider" Almeida. Matt Bessette suffered a tough decision loss to Joe Proctor back in October at the last Reality which was coincidentally at Mohegan Sun.  Saul Almeida is now 12-1 and is coming off a 5 fight win streak.  His last victory came just recently in February at CES against Jeff Anderson.  Almeida wins most of his fights via decision and Bessette wins most of his fights via submission so this one is sure to be a great ground battle.

Another local bout to be on the Bellator 63 card is a much anticipated rematch between Jeff "Scary NickName" Nader against Dan Cramer.  Cramer was winning the fight and in the 3rd round Jeff came back and got the ref stoppage to strikes to win the fight.  The crowd was going wild at such a remarkable comeback fight.  Jeff suffered a broken hand from that fight but is all healed up and ready for another war.  Cramer will be looking to finish what he couldn't complete at the last bout.  Don't blink on this fight!

Kheyfets at her weigh ins at her last XFC
Finally the last local bout that I am really excited about is the return of the 25 year old Marianna Kheyfets to CT.  She has fought her last two fights in Florida for the XFC and has a perfect record of 5-0.  She will be fighting Munah Holland who has a record of 3-1.  They both have a common opponent and that is they both have defeated Kim Couture, yes that Kim Couture. Munah has all her fights with Ring of Combat organization which is in New Jersey and this is her first fight for Bellator as is Marianna's.

The main card is found below.

Karl Amoussou vs. Chris Lozano (welterweight-tourney opening round)
Raul Amaya vs. Ben Saunders (welterweight-tourney opening round)
Brian Foster vs. David Rickels (welterweight-tourney opening round)
Bryan Baker vs. Carlos Pereira (welterweight-tourney opening round)
