[NEF PRESS RELEASE]
Bangor, Maine (October 6, 2023) – New England Fights presents its next mixed-martial-arts event “NEF 55: Glory Days” on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor. Earlier today, NEF announced the addition of an amateur featherweight bout to the card. Brandon “BAMF” Maillet-Fevens (4-4) is scheduled to face Eddy Peña (2-2) at a fight weight of 145 pounds.
Brandon Maillet-Fevens has had all of his amateur MMA fights to date in the NEF cage. He started his career at 3-1, earning himself a featherweight title shot at “NEF 44.” Maillet-Fevens has now challenged twice for the featherweight strap, most recently at “NEF 53” last summer. All four of Maillet-Fevens wins have come by finish with three submissions and one technical knockout. He represents Central Maine Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu based in Lewiston, Maine.
“I couldn't be happier to be coming back home to the Queen City,” exclaimed Maillet-Fevens. “I've been working hard and I'm excited to show the fans the improvements I've made in my game. Eddy's a tough kid, but he's not on my level and on November 11th I plan on proving once again that I'm one of the very best in this division.”
