Brandon Fleming To Fight For Bellator

Brandon Fleming, a 145lber who trains out of South Shore Sportsfighting has signed a deal with Bellator to fight on March 30th.  This is set to take place at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut.

Brandon has decided to turn pro and in a big way!  He put on a spectacular amateur career and finished 7-0.  He fought tough battles and some of the fighters he defeated were Joe Pingitore and Shannon Soares.  Brandon tells me "I'm really excited to be making my pro debut for Bellator!"

He will be fighting on the undercard of the show most likely, so we can all pray that we will see him on MTV2 or EPIX.  His opponent is going to be P.J. Rogers who trains out of Connecticut.  "I know my opponent is making his pro debut like me so I'm just as excited to get in there. I really don't know too much about him besides I believe he is 6"1 and he has a background in kick boxing."  With Brandon's background in wrestling this makes for an awesome bout.

Brandon has had a tough time finding opponents in New England.  Being ranked #1 at the 145lb division made it difficult to match him up.  Going pro should help Brandon get some challenging opponents and with the deal with Bellator, this should be no problem.  Brandon was previously set to fight Amryan Aliyev at the AFO's April show but when this opportunity came up, it was just too good to pass up.  He was quickly replaced with fellow team mate Cory Pickering who is 4-0 and if Cory keeps it up, he may be getting a call to the big show as well.  "I would like to thank Prime Athletics for helping me out with this great opportunity.  Come out March 30th and support me! Bill Mahoney for president!" he says as we conclude our chat.  Congratulations Brandon and we hope to be there cheering you on.
