155 AM Title Josh Harvey (4-1 Young’s) vs Ryan Dibartolomeo (4-3 Boston BJJ NH)

Josh Harvey defends his title against Ryan Dibartolomeo at 155 lbs.  Harvey trains with Young's MMA and comes into this fight with a 4-1 record.  He has 1 win by ko/tko, 2 by sub and 1 by decision so far in his amateur career.  His only loss came by way of submission against Dylan Lockard.  Harvey always comes out with explosive energy and is a force to be reckoned with.  His opponent is Ryan Dibartolomeo and he trains with Boston BJJ NH.  He comes into this fight with a 4-3 record.  He has 1 win by submission and 3 wins by decision.  For his losses, he lost 2 by ko/tko to strikes and 1 by decision.  Ryan won the Combat Zone title in his last fight against Lloyd Fernandes.  Ryan is calm, cool and collective and paces himself and wins the decisions.  Now Harvey has only gone into the 3rd round once in his amateur career so there is that.  This is going to be another awesome fight and definitely could be a fight of the night contender.

155 PRO Jesse Erickson (6-4 CMBJJ) vs Ricky Sylvester (2-1 Team Flo)

In the first pro fight of the night Jesse Erickson will square off against Ricky Sylvester.  Erickson trains with CMBJJ and comes into this fight with a 6-4 record.  He has 2 wins by ko/tko and 4 wins by submission.  For his losses, he lost 2 by ko/tko to strikes and 2 by submission.  Erickson has an awesome ground game and excellent transition and is always a pleasure to watch in the cage.  His opponent is Ricky Sylvester and he trains with Team Flo.  He comes into this fight with 2-1 with 1 win by ko/tko and 1 win by submission.  In his last fight he lost by submission to Pete San Antonio and it was an awesome back and forth battle.  I am anxious to see how these two match up together.  I think Ricky will have the edge standing and Jesse will have the edge on the ground.

265 PRO Matt Andrikut (0-0 Conviction) vs Artie Mullen (0-14 So. Maine MMA)

In a heavyweight showdown Matt Andrikut takes on Artie Mullen.  Andrikut trains with Team Conviction and will be making his pro debut.  He won his fight against Pat Walsh by ko/tko back in 2010 and hasn't fought since.  His opponent is Artie Mullen and he trains with South Maine MMA.  He comes into this fight with an 0-14 record with all first round stoppages.  Artie always comes out like a bull but has trouble when it goes to the ground.  I don't see this one going into the second round!

155 PRO Matt Denning (1-0 CMBJJ) vs Zenon Herrera (0-1 Independent)

Matt Denning takes on Zenon Herrera at 155 lbs this Saturday.  Denning trains out of CMBJJ and comes into this fight with a 1-0 record.  He won his first fight via submission against Derek Shorey back at NEF 15.  His opponent is Zenon Herrera and he is an independent fighter.  He comes into this fight with an 0-1 record with one loss by submission against Jesse Erickson.  Denning is really slick with his submissions and that could spell disaster for Zenon.  Zenon does have some submissions of his own as an amateur so he will have to dig deep for this one.

135 PRO Zech Lange (3-1 Bombsquad) vs Jay Perrin (2-0 Boston BJJ NH)

In a 135 lb showdown Zech Lange takes on Jay Perrin.  Lange trains out of New York with Team Bombsquad and comes into this fight with 3-1 record.  Lange has 1 win by ko/tko and 2 wins by decision.  His sole loss came by decision and he hasn't fought since 2012.  He is very dangerous with his strikes and has beaten some tough opponents.  His opponent is Jay Perrin and he trains with Boston BJJ NH.  Jay comes into this fight with a 2-0 record with 1 by decision and 1 by ko/tko.  In his last fight NEF fans saw him defeat Elias Leland with some nasty knees to the head.  This fight is going to be an awesome one and I think it is going to have lots of awesome stand up.

150 PRO Derek Shorey (2-2 Shatterproof) vs Tollison Lewis (0-4 CMBJJ)

Next up is at 150 lbs Derek Shorey steps into the cage against Tollison Lewis.  Shorey trains with team Shatterproof and comes into this fight with a record of 2-2.  For his wins he has 1 by ko/tko and 1 by way of submission.  For his losses, he has 1 by ko/tko and 1 by sub.  His opponent is Tollison Lewis and he trains with CMBJJ.  He comes into this fight with an 0-4 record with all 4 of his losses by submission.  Don't let his record fool you as Tollison can scrap.  I see this one as being a real close battle and is a great fight for both fighters.

205 PRO Michael Hansen (2-2 Berserkers) vs Crowsneck Boutin (1-0 Choi)

At 205 lbs Michael Hansen takes on Crowsneck Boutin.  Hansen trains with Berzerkers and comes into this fight with a 2-2 record.  He has 1 win by ko/tko and 1 by sub so far in his pro career.  For his losses, he lost both of them by ko/tko.  His opponent is Crowsneck Boutin and he trains with Choi's.  He comes into this fight with a 1-0 record in which he won an awesome bloody war against Ryan Cowette by decision.  I see this fight being another stand up war and definitely could be a fight of the night contender!

170 PRO Darrius Heyliger (5-2 Independent) vs Sidney Outlaw (4-1 Dante Rivera BJJ)

In the main event Darrius Heyliger challenges Sidney Outlaw at 170 lbs.  Heyliger is an independent fighter with a 5-2 record and used to train with Bombsquad.  He has 2 wins by ko/tko, 1 sub and 2 decision victories.  For his losses, he lost 1 by submission and 1 by decision.  NEF fans will remember his awesome battle against Marcus Davis in which he lost the decision but it was a very exciting fight.  He would  love another stand up war.  His opponent is Sidney Outlaw and he trains with Dante Rivera BJJ in New Jersey. Outlaw is a Bellator veteran and comes into this fight with a 4-1 record.  He has 1 win by ko/tko, 1 by sub and 2 by decision.  His only loss was by ko/tko in a previous World Series of Fighting fight.  I think this is going to be a good battle and it is very hard to predict this outcome so we will have to wait and see!
