We are getting closer to the June 25th date of the Top Level Pro Grappling series 6 event so I wanted to share with you all the upcoming matches they have planned.  This event will be taking place at Nomad's Adventure Quest at 100 Bidwell Road in South Windsor CT.  The doors will be opening at 4pm and the first match will be at 5pm.  Tickets are available at the link here.  Here is the full card below.

🏟 LIVE REVIEW--🏟 AMMO FIGHT LEAGUE --'Battle of St. Patrick's'--3/12/2022

Today has finally come and Ammo is upon us!  This is their first show of 2022 and our first one in Western Massachusetts area finally!  Ammo has put together an action packed night of 16 amateur fights which will be sure to be exciting.  The doors will be opening at 4pm and the first fight is set to start right around 5pm.  I believe tickets are still available at the door so feel free to come check out the fights.  The storm wasn't too bad to scare the fight fans away and we are all ready for the action to start.  It was good to see all my ref, judge, photographer and commentating buddies that I haven't seen in a while.  The Ammo team has put us in a nice spot at the cage so we shouldn't miss any of the action for you all.  

135 AM Timothy Roberts (Legacy 0-0) vs. Tristin Joyce (Karasu Tengu Academy 0-0)

Rd 1:  They both come out swinging.  Timmy gets the hip toss and is in guard.  Tristin tries for a triangle and Timothy slams him out.  He gets in some punches and they work their way up.  Tim gets another takedown but they bounce right back up.  They clinch and Tim slams him to the mat.  Tristin is throwing his legs up and pushes Tim off him.  They get back to their feet and Tristin is pressing Tim up against the cage.  Tim rips Tristin to the mat again as the round ends.

Roberts 10-9

Rd 2:  Tim shoots for a takedown and gets the hip toss.  He lands in the guard and is trying to pass.  Tristin is staying busy from the bottom  with his legs.  Tristin is trying for an armbar but can't get it.  Tim slams Tristin down to the mat again.  Tristin rolls and Tim gets in some punches as the round ends.

Roberts 10-9

Rd 3:  Tim gets the quick takedown.  Tristin is working some punches from the bottom.  Tim postures up and is getting in some hammerfists.  Tristin has a triangle and is trying for the finish.  He is working and readjusting the triangle a few times but can't get the finish.  They both stand back up and Tristin is pressing Tim up against the cage.  Tim is trying for a takedown as the round ends.

📰TEASER--📰 AMMO FIGHT LEAGUE--3/12/2022

Ammo Fight League returns this Saturday March 12th, 2022.  The show will be taking place at the Big E in West Springfield at the Mallory Arena.  The doors will be opening up at 4pm and the fight will be starting around 5pm.  Please note that they are starting the fights earlier because the full 17 match fight card has stayed intact!  Bill Vigil and team have done an excellent job at keeping the fight card together and now their hard work will pay off this Saturday.  The fights are all amateur battles and will be featuring some up and comers from the Western Mass and CT area that you definitely don't want to miss.  This should be the exact fight order for this Saturday so feel free to save it or use it for references.  Let me break down the fight card for you.  I will be skipping the 0-0 matches since there is not much insight to add to those.

AMMO FIGHT LEAGUE 'HALLOWEEN BRAWL' 10/30/2021 LIVE REVIEW

Ammo Fight League is back with another stacked card.  Warchild and I made our trip to the Mallory Building at the Big E.  Nothing better than to watch some fights on a dreary rainy day.  Ammo has put together a total of 15 matches in which 1 of them will be grappling.  The grappling will be followed by 14 amateur battles in which 2 of them will be title fights.  The crowd is starting to fill up and the fights should be starting soon.   The refs are Steve Rita, Jordan Riley and Chris.  The show is about to start so please follow along as I try to keep up with all the action.

170 AM Darren M McCall (0-0 FAA)  vs. Chris Kennedy (0-0 Lopez Martial Arts)

Rd 1:  They come out swinging.  Chris kicks Darren straight in the cup.  He takes a few minutes and the fight resumes.  Chris misses with a few high kicks and jumps on the back of Darren.  Chris goes for a standing rear naked choke.  They fall to the mat and he gets the tap.

Chris Kennedy defeats Darren McCall via tapout to rear naked choke at 1:14 in Round 1.

AMMO FIGHT LEAGUE 'HALLOWEEN BRAWL' 10/30/2021 TEASER

Ammo Fight League returns this Saturday on October 30th to the Big E.  The event will be taking place at the Mallory Building.  The doors will be opening up at 5pm and the first fight is set to start around 6pm.  Ammo has put together an awesome card with a stacked amateur show.  They will be kicking off the night with a super grappling match between THE Brennan Ward and Chris Samboy then following that with 14 amateur fights.  Out of the 14 amateur fights 2 of them will be title fights!  Let me break down the fight card for you all.  To save some time and writing since I had to write up 2 teasers this week I will be skipping the 0-0 match ups.

170 AM Darren M McCall (0-0 FAA)  vs. Chris Kennedy (0-0 Lopez Martial Arts)

185 AM Maren Lanchaster(0-0 Blackwolf) vs. Joshua Barnard (0-0 Chapman's House Of Pain)

170 AM Aaron Velazquez (0-0 Thunder MMA vs. Rodolfo Silva (0-0 Hudson Combat Academy)

145 AM Isaac Carlson (0-1 FAA) vs. Christian Fagan (0-0 Grizzlies Wrestling)

At 145 lbs Isaac Carlson will be taking on Christian Fagan.  Isaac trains with Fighting Arts Academy and comes into this fight with an 0-1 record.  He lost his last fight at Premier FC 30 by a head kick.  He is still hungry for his first taste of victory.  His opponent is Christian Fagan and he trains with Grizzlies Wrestling.  Christian will be making his amateur debut.  These are both awesome schools so I know they will both be ready for anything.

Ammo Fight League ‘The Return’ Live Review 8/7/2021

Warchild and I made our way to Gate 1 and found our way to the Young Building.  There is a line out the door of hungry fans looking to see some action.  The show is in a larger building than the usual Ammo one and the word around the cage is that Ammo is basically sold out which is awesome.  Inside the venue there is the cage with chairs all around it and also a restaurant the West Side Grille.  This is a packed card with 2 grappling matches kicking off right at 5pm and following that will be 15 mma fights.  This is the most fights Ammo has ever had so I am happy to see them growing more and more each show.  Krystyne showed us to our seats by the cage and we found our buddy Nicola from FarOneMMA.  Real good crowd here I would estimate over 1000+ . GRAPPLING Rory Connors (Connors MMA) vs. Juninho Alvim (Casa Jiu Jitsu)

Rory Connors defeats Juninho Alvim by kneebar in the first grappling match.  Juninho’s knee popped, so hope he is alright.

GRAPPLING Charles Soffen (Team Link) vs. Logan Dias ( Casa Jiu Jitsu)

Logan Dias wins guillotine over Charles Soffen in the 2nd grappling match.

190 AM MMA Logan Bond (0-0 Ascension) vs Lee Mchorse (0-0 Carlson Gracie Team)

Rd 1:  Both fighters start the round out with some leg kicks.  Mchorse gets the slamming takedown and Logan pops right back up.  They clinch and they fall to the mat with Logan in guard as the round ends.

McHorse 10-9

Rd 2:  The fighters are working the clinch this round with not much to judge on.

Real close round, I say McHorse 10-9 for controlling the round.

Rd 3:  Logan goes high with a kick that just grazes the face.  They clinch and Lee gets the trip and Logan is on top.  Both fighters are trying for ankle locks.  Lee is trying to stand up but can’t keep his balance.  Logan is back in guard and Lee was going for the armbar with just seconds left.

Bond 10-9

Lee McHorse defeats Logan Bond via split decision.  What a great first fight!

AMMO 8 HAS BEEN POSTPONED

Due to the continued outbreak resulting from the COVID-17 (coronavirus), and after speaking with medical professionals and state officals, AMMO sadly announces that we will be postponing our show.

The health and safety of our athletes, fans and staff are our number one priority!

Out of an abundance of caution for all parties, AMMO's on Saturday, March 14 at The Big E will rescheduled. Refunds for all ticketholders will be available at their original point of purchase or can be held and honored for our rescheduled show.

We will continue to monitor all information surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak.

AMMO FIGHT LEAGUE 8 TEASER 3/14/2020

We are just mere days away from Ammo Fighting League 8 which will be taking place at the Big E in Springfield Mass.  The big day will be this Saturday on March 14th.  Ammo has been working hard and has put together their biggest card to date with 17 mma fights and 2 grappling.  The doors will be opening at 5pm and the first fight will start around 6pm.  This should be the exact fight order but keep in mind things change as the day gets closer.  If you do not have your tickets yet please get them at the link here.  Please follow along as I break down the fight card. AMMO RELEASES FULL FIGHT CARD FOR 3/14/2020 SHOW

AMMO NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS LIVE REVIEW 7/20/2019

It is a balmy 97 degrees in West Springfield and what would be better to do then see some mma action in the cage.  Warchild and I made the trip to the Young’s building at the Big E and quickly found our spot.  There are seats around the cage and then some bleachers in the back.  There is a West Side Grille inside for people to get their drinks and food.  Did I mention that it also has air conditioning in there?  To start off the night Ammo will have 4 grappling matching and following that 12 mma fights.  Out of the 12 fights there will be 2 amatuer title fights and also 5 of them will be pro fights.  If my eyes don’t deceive me I think I spy with my little eye 6 ring girls.  The show is about to start so please follow along as I recap the night.

AMMO 7 PREVIEW 7/20/2019

Ammo will be returning in action this Saturday July 20th for their 7th show.  This will be in a different building than before as it is in the Young Building at the Big E in Springfield, MA.  The doors will be opening at 6pm and the first fight will start at 7pm.  There are a total of 13 mma fights with 2 of them being title fights.  Also on the night with be 5 professional fights.  There will also be 4 grappling matches before the mma portion.  Please follow along as I break down the fight card for you all.

AMMO FIGHT LEAGUE 6 LIVE REVIEW 3/16/2019

We are here at the Ammo 6 event and as we arrived there was a line out the door.  Warchild and I snuck in and quickly found our seats.  Inside the seating area was filling up rather quickly which is great.  I would say this is the biggest crowd Ammo has had to date.  There has been a few fights that have been scrapped.  The first fight that was on the card has been cancelled and also the Saul Almeida and Rob Fuller fight has been cancelled.  The refs are Steve Rita and some ref's name I will learn later.  The national anthem has been played and the fights are about to begin.  Please follow along as I try my best to keep up with all the action.

AMMO FIGHT LEAGUE 6 3/16/2019 TEASER

Ammo Fight League is ready to return this Saturday March 16th with their 6th event to date.  The show will be held at the Big E Mallary Complex in West Springfield Mass.  The doors will be opening at 5pm, with grappling starting at 6pm and the first mma fight will start at 7pm.  They recently lost their main event with was supposed to have Jon Manley due to his opponent getting in a car accident.  They just added a new fight between Saul Almeida and Rob Fuller giving the show of 12 mma bouts with 5 of them being professional ones.  Also on the card will be 5 grappling matches featuring Nicole Shattuck and Danielle Hindley and also another great grappling match between Jeff Haddad and John Stapleton.  Here are the grappling matches below and please follow along as I break down the mma portion of the night.
