[CES Press Release]

Long overdue, #Attleboro’s Tyler King and #EastProvidence’s Eric "lucky strikes" Bedard face off April 16 at #CES35 at the legendary North Shore Music Theatre in #Beverly.

In their two previous bouts, the heavyweights have not made it past the first round. In the first meeting, King kneed his way to a first-round KO. In the second fight, Bedard slugged his way to a first-round stoppage.

Under the bright lights in Beverly, both big men expect more fireworks and plan on walking out of the #CESMMA cage with their hands held high.

“I’m hated. But I don’t care. I do this because I (expletive) love it. Let’s go put on a show,” said King, who’s looking for his eighth stoppage win. “It’s a highly anticipated fight. There’s nothing personal. Once the cage door closes, he’s going to try to take my head off, and I’m going to take his head off.”

“I don’t make these fights personal,” added Bedard. “There was some trash-talking on his side going into the first fight. The second fight it was a matter of getting it back. I don’t make things personal … Tyler doesn’t want to stand with me. I’m going to hit him and he’s going to feel it.”

Also appearing at CES MMA 35 is #Gloucester’s Pedro Gonzalez, #Dorchester’s Andres Jeudi, #Peabody’s Rico DiSciullo, #Medford’s Lewis Corapi, #Quincy’s Mike Rodriguez, #Salem’s Billy Keenan and #Providence’s Marquis Brewster.
