Manchester, New Hampshire - Friday April 19th from the Double Tree by Hilton Downtown Jamison and Calvin Kattar present Combat Zone 70: Relentless. The Armory will open its doors once again to New Hampshire's elite Mixed Martial Arts promotion offering a twelve fight slate, including 7 professional MMA bouts, 3 Amateur bouts as well as 2 high level Gi-Grappling contests highlighting the evenings fight bill. Former US Olympian Rick Hawn (21-4 MMA) who's combat Judo is some of the best in the country, having metaled at the Pan AM Games, US Open as well as the US National Championship during his nearly decade long Judo Career. Hawn followed that Judo career with seven years as a professional Mixed Martial Artist for some top organizations including fourteen fights inside the Bellator cage on his way to an impressive 21-4 career mark. Hawn will make his return to "caged" competition Friday night in a Gi-Grappling match with Aqueous BJJ Purple Belt; Greg West. Triumph BJJ Black Belt, and former Combat Zone MMA combatant Dennis "The Menace" Olson (14-11 MMA) has made his excitement widely known, as he prepares to showcase his Jiu-Jitsu against fellow Combat Zone veteran Ray "Relentless" Shawdee (5-4 MMA). Olson, who out ranks the brown belted Shawdee, has promised to prove that his grappling game has only improved since his days in the MMA cage, on his quest to dismantle the, very game; Ray Shawdee.

Once the grappling Superfights are in the books Combat Zone will roll out two high level co-headlining fights to cap off the evening. With his eyes on becoming the top Featherweight prospect in all of New England PMA's Brendan "The Kid" Marotte (5-0) will put his perfect professional record on the line against what looks to be his toughest test to date in North Carolina's Adli "Sunshine" Edwards (5-1). Marotte's quest to further solidify his resume, following a hard fought Unanimous Decision victory over 14 fight veteran Chris Rollins at CES 54, will continue with his attempt to add a talented veteran with a winning record to his current list of victims. In the Main Event grizzled New England Lightweight Veterans; John "Orto" Ortolani (8-13) and Lewis Corapi (8-4) in a matchup that leaves you scratching your head wondering; "how have these two fighters careers have not yet crossed paths?" Ortolani will be making his 6th career walk to the Combat Zone where he is just 1-3-1 in his career, he sets his sights on Boston's Corapi who is a perfect 2-0 in the Combat Zone cage with two huge decision wins against Jeff Anderson and Vovka Clay. This main event promises to be an all out war, these are two very tough, very seasoned fighters with the ability to finish one another wherever the fight takes place.

Five more fights round out the professional portion of the Combat Zone 70 fight card, starting with two massive Light-Heavyweights as Team Link Hooksett's Terrance "T-Bone" Jean-Jacques looks to climb the regional Light-Heavyweight ranks against New York's James Dysard (0-4). Next; former Middleweight prospect Tommy Davis Jr. (1-1) will look for his first back to back professional wins as he meets Jesus Cintron (0-6) at a Catchweight of 198 pounds. Submission specialist Jeff Perez (3-4) attempts to bounce back from a gruesome cut that ended his night early against Andy Aiello at Combat Zone 69, Perez will welcome to town Denver, Colorado's Rob Fuller (0-4) who continues to find a home inside the cages of New England MMA, as he swings for the first victory of his professional career. And finally Combat Zone veterans Carl Langston (0-2) and Chris Caterino (1-2) slug it out in the Bantamweight division.
