Press Release--AFO presents: Night of Champions

On April 13th American Fighting Organization returns to Mansfield for the biggest card in its 5 ½ years existence, Night of Champions. Night of Champions is headlined with 10 title fights as well as an under card full of fighters looking to make a name for themselves. AFO prides itself in having the best matchups in local MMA and this card is no exception as it is filled with great matchups that will grab the interest of every type of fight fan.
Several vacant titles will be up for grabs that night starting with the lightweight title when Tyson Chartier will face off against Lee Metcalf. Tyson, a Sityodtong star is a former amateur fighter of the year now holding a record for 4-1 will face another star from another top school in the country South Shore Sports Fighting. Lee Metcalf. Both fighters have had great success inside the AFO and this might be the toss up fight of the night.

Two time Champion and crowd favorite Paddy Thompson who added a new addition to his family this year had to vacate the welterweight title being unable to defend it. At NOC it will be decided with Jeremy Ross from Western Mass and Brandon Chagnon. Jeremy comes with a 4-3 record and is new to the AFO while Brandon is now 3-2 and is undefeated with the AFO. Former Champ Thompson will be watching this one closely for his own return.

Also scheduled coming all the way from California with team Alpha Male is Thane Stimpson who is now a full time fighter making his return to the AFO and he will face off against Chris Ramos from CNY (New York). Thane has been inside the AFO cage 4 times and is undefeated there, Chris plans to spoil Thanes homecoming.

Billy Giovanella (4-2) will face Devin Pilkington (3-2) , Soap Am (1-0) will face Cory Pickering (4-0), Tim Leary (2-0) will face Mike Burke, the rematch between Tommy Venticinque and Joe Palazio will also happen. Also Scheduled on the action packed card is Davis Roast, Jared Sarno, Champion Kody Nordby, Felix Gomes and many other current and future stars.

Night Of Champions will take place at the Holiday Inn Events Center, April 13th. Located at 31 Hampshire St, Mansfield Ma. Doors open at 6pm and the 1st fight will start at 7.
