We are just mere days away from the first event of the New Year and that is of course Reality Fighting. It will be taking place this Saturday at the Arena in Mohegan Sun. This will be a mixed martial arts at night and the grappling in mid afternoon. The doors will be opening at 5:30PM and the grappling will be between 6:30-8:30pm. Then the first mma fight will be starting at 8:30pm so plan accordingly. Reality Fighting is very good at sticking with those times. Below are both the fight cards. I will be breaking down the mma portion so please scroll past the 18 grappling matches and you will find the mma portion. Tommi has already grappled for Reality before in the cage so I know she will be more than ready. I see this one being a ground battle.
170 AM MMA Michael Schuyler (0-0 Dexter) vs. Cameron Resnisky (2-0 The Cage JSA)
Then at 170 lbs Michael Schulyer will be taking on Cameron Resnisky. Michael trains with Dexter Vale Tudo and I believe comes into this fight making his amateur debut. His opponent is Cameron Resnisky and he trains with The Cage JSA. He comes into this fight with a 2-0 record with 1 win by decision and 1 win by tko stoppage. Cameron has the fight experience but I know Dexter will have Michael ready for anything so this should be another great match up.

At a catch weight of 110 lbs Grace Nowak will be taking on Bestare Kicaj. Grace trains with Behring Jitsu and comes into this fight with an 0-1 record. She lost her pro debut by kimura against Marisa Messer-Belenchia. Her opponent is Bestare Kicaj and she trains with Strikezone Europe. In this battle, Grace will want to get this fight to the ground and work a submission as she seems most comfortable on the ground. Bestare will want to keep this standing and wear her down with her striking.

His opponent is Miguel Cuevas and he trains with Battlecrew/Team Link. He will also be making his pro debut. Miguel went 6-1 as an amateur so he is very well tested. I see this one being a ground battle.
145 AM MMA TITLE Zac Richard (5-2-1 Nostos) vs. Randy Francis (5-6 Strikezone)
The co-main event is an mma title fight between Zac Richard and Randy Francis. Zarc trains with Nostos and comes into this fight with a 5-2-1 record. For his wins, he has 3 by ko/tko, 1 by submission and 1 by decision. For his losses, he lost 1 by submission and 1 by decision. His opponent is Randy Francis and he trains with Strikezone. This fight is definitely worthy of a title fight as I have seen both of these fighters fight in the cage many of times. They both bring crazy intensity and bring it 110% every fight. I see this one being an awesome war.

His 3 losses came by decision including one of them being a split decision. Both of these guys are tough fighters and Dan has never been finished in the cage. However this fight is for the title and is scheduled for a 5 round fight. This will be a stand up war I feel and I for one, can't wait!
