1. When and Why did you get into MMA??
I’ve always been into the fighting arts and enjoy the fighting experience.
2. Do you have a background in martial arts, boxing , wrestling etc?
Yes, I've be into martial arts for years, mostly karate.
3. What's you nickname, how did you get it?
My trainers nick named me the Renengade they say it fits my personality.
4. What are your ultimate goals in the sport?
My goals would be to turn pro and win a title.
5. What do you think about your next opponent?
I don’t know much, but he comes from a school in CT that has a good reputation, ask me again after the fight.
6. How do you see the fight going/being finished?
Well..ultimately I like to see me winning, but again its hard to know because at this level we are all kinda unknown to each other, and what little tape I have seen shows him taking guys down from the start of his fights.
7. What weight do you walk at/how much do you cut to fight?
I walk around at 160 so I cut only about 5 pounds
8. What's your favorite part about fighting?
My favorite part is the battle, you know after training so hard and then the time comes to unleash, that is the best part for me. It’s just me and him and there is only one winner..
9. What's the worst part about fighting?
Cutting weight!
10. Anyone locally or in the big's that you really would love to fight, and why?
I would love to do battle with Clay Guida he is one of my favorites and I have a lot of respect for him.
11. What do you feel is your best weapon in your fights?
I think my stand up is the best part of my game. I love the exchange with your opponent, lets face it the crowd loves a knock out!
12. What is your favorite foods that you miss while cutting weight??
Fried food!
13. What is your most memorable moment to date in MMA??
My first fight.
14. How else do you spend your time when you are not training??
When I'm not training I’m thinking about it. I’m really hungry right now and want to be the best fighter I can be. There is plenty of time for other things later.
15. What do you do for a living besides fighting??
I’m a carpenter but I’m currently working on a fight gear and equipment company with my brother, and stand up trainer Mike, its called Renegade Fighter......
