AFO Announces Halloween Havoc's Main Events

As Perfect Storm show is getting near its completion of the card, AFO is quickly working on the Halloween Havoc as well.  It will be the 4th year anniversary for Halloween Havoc and it is set to take place on October 7th.  They are returning back to Mansfield Ma at the Holiday Inn.  Now read what Pete DiLorenzo had to say about the main events below..

"In our Main Event We’ll see our Newly Crowned Heavy Weight Champion Randy “The Wolf Smith” as he defends his title against Lee “The Beast” Beane. These two animals met once before with Lee winning in what some called an early stoppage.

After winning the title, Smith made it very clear he wanted a rematch and with Lee, who was sitting in the front row that night watching.

In our Co Main Event, another rematch that has been asked for will be granted. Steve “The Sandman” Dunn will return to the cage to face current and longest running Champion, Paddy “Thunder Kitten” Thompson. If you were at the 1st show then you know why a rematch is needed. For starters the fight was moved up from the Main Event to right after intermission with little notice to the fighters to get ready. Also during the 1st rd where “The Sandman” was dominating for over 4 minutes of it, the lights went out 3 times during the round.

Paddy Thompson is the longest running 2 time Champ in the AFO with a 4 fight win streak and like Dunn has a terrific fan base. If you have ever seen these two fight then you know neither one was ever in something boring."--Pete DiLorenzo

Wow, what a month it will be for the ranked Heavyweights in MA.  The fans will have a feast for their eyes because not only do we have one big heavyweight matchup in October, we have two.  Randy Smith(12-9) ranked #4 is taking on Lee Beane(8-2) ranked #2 heavyweight in Mass.  Don't forget Lee Beane not to long ago knocked out cold UFC legend Dan Severn. At the Reality show at Mohegan Sun we all get to see Parker Porter ranked #1 take on Gabriel Gonzaga who is just coming back from the big time UFC shows.

Next for the main event is Paddy "ThunderKitten" Thompson who is 11-3 against Steve "Sandman" Dunn(6-1).  Paddy in his last fight was getting dominated the first round by Jason Sarbacker.  He never gives up and ended up getting a triangle submission win in the early bits of Rd 2.  Which is very close to the way the first fight went with Sandman Dunn.  I can't wait for the rematch on this one!!
