1. When and Why did you get into MMA??

I didn't start training till later in my 20's, my best friend Tony Leite was tearing up the lightweight scene at the time he held the reality fighting belt for about two years. I used to get so pumped watching him fight, so he asked me to come and try out some training.  I thought sure I'll come roll around, at the time I was about 220 and kinda strong from lifting at the gym, so I thought I'll just crush all those wimpy jiu jitsu guys. I come in and start rolling with my buddy Tony(155lbs) and long story short I was instantly humbled and addicted.

2. Do you have a background in martial arts, boxing , wrestling etc?

I do not have a background in martial arts but have always loved competing at anything I do.

3. What's your nickname, how did you get it?

I do not have a nickname because I have not been given one and I believe they should be given not made up by oneself.

4. What are your ultimate goals in the sport?

To be a pro champion!!!! Then down the road help train future champs!!! I love this sh*t!!!

5. What do you think about your next opponent?

I think my opponent is undefeated(3-0) and champ for a reason, that's why I've been training my ass off for this fight because I know he's gonna bring it but that's fine cuz so am I!!!

6. How do you see the fight going/being finished?

I see me controlling the pace, working my boxing and probably bringing the fight to the ground and finishing with ground & pound for the tko stoppage.

7. What weight do you walk at/how much do you cut to fight?

I walk at about 195 so that's a good 25lb cut for 170, I bulked up to 210 for my march 17th fight, right now I'm at 195 10 days out from my 185 title fight.

8. What's your favorite part about fighting?

I'm a competitor and fighting is the most competitive thing I've ever done, oh yea big time adrenaline junkie also.

9. What's the worst part about fighting?

Cutting weight of course and fn injuries!!

10. Anyone locally or in the big's that you really would love to fight, and why?

Well not really but there was a team asking about me for an ammy fight but I'm turning pro after this fight so if this guy wants to make a debut with me then I'd definitely be interested. I would say his name but I'm not that type of person, besides it wasn't him asking for me it was his team, who(by the way) I'm 1-0 against.

11. What do you feel is your best weapon in your fights?

My wrestling and ground and pound, but I'm trying real hard to improve my stand up so that my whole game is even, nowadays you must have it all.

12. What is your favorite foods that you miss while cutting weight??

BUFFALO CHICKEN!!! PIZZA!!!! Separate or together!!

13. What is your most memorable moment to date in MMA??

Winning my 170 cfx amateur title

14. How else do you spend your time when you are not training??

Work(boring), ps3

15. What do you do for a living besides fighting??

Hvac technician

I just want to thank all my instructors at the Maxx, Mike Varner, Kru Muhamed, Soneca, Don Lewis, and my bad ass fight team partners!!! You guys have gotten me more than ready for my upcoming war!!!! Also much love to Lakeville mma sensei(John Marando), and all my former team mates thank you for helping me get where I'm at!!!
