Thanks to our friends at NAGA Fighter and Reality Fighting Championship we are able to get our hands on some vintage footage from one of New England's earlier mma promotions. We've dubbed it from an old VHS tape that Ref Steve Rita was keeping in an outdoor storage shed where the weather and vermin took there best shot at it, but with a little care and some patience I was able to clean it up and convert it for you all. Here are the bouts from Mass Destruction 9 at the Taunton, MA Matrix Nightclub. The event was held on Aug 23rd 2002 and features the likes of Andy Aiello, Jerry Spiegel, and Mike Varner to name a few. I'll be posting many more over the course of the next couple of weeks and look forward to your feedback.
