Jose "Samurai" Lopez (2-4) will be fighting Damien "The Omen" Trites (3-2) in a light-weight battle at WCF 6. The fight takes place at the Aleppo Shriner's Auditorium, in Wilmington Mass, on Saturday March 14, 2009. This should be Jose's toughest test of his career, as Trites comes in riding a 2 fight win streak. Both fighters share a similar muscled build, but as in all of his previous fights, Jose should have the more technical striking. Trites will look to take the fight to the ground where he can try to finish the fight with the ground and pound he's found success with in his last 2 wins.
Jose has been training like a beast, concentrating on polishing up his wrestling, as well as keeping his cardio at it's top level. Look for a stronger more aggressive fighter out of the Samurai in 09'. It all starts with a big win against "The Omen", on March 14!
