NEF Fight Night IV 9/8/2012 Review

NEF Vendors Post Show
Warchild and I, CityBoy arrived at the Colisee with plenty of time to spare and got settled in.  For those of you who are not used to our new format, I like to do the live play by play right as they happen.  The fans seem to enjoy that way more and they follow along as if they are there.  It isn't easy spelling all the words right but it seems to work so I am sticking with it.  Afterwards I plug in the pictures in the next day or two and then change the Title to Review.  The fights should start around 7pm or so.  Keep refreshing this article for the up to date info.  It is about 7pm and the fights are about to start.  I have updated the fight order.  I just want to give the NEF crew a thank you for allowing us to cover this show.  John Vena is our host for the evening.  The place is packed with around 3200 people!! For vendors Shipyard, Kill Their Will and Occupy the Cage, SuckerPunch Athletics and PU2S Fightwear.

Hope you enjoyed our review as much as we enjoyed sharing them.  NEF is doing everything right and going on all cylinders.  The Colisee is a great location and venue to fill with fight fans.  I would like to point out that NEF does the little things great.  The Authority and NEF crew are always telling people around the cage to stay low so the fans can see.  It is not something that they have to do but it is just important to them and shows how they really do care about the fans.  The fight fans stay all the way until the end and I do think some left because of the lengthy amount of fights.  In fact I believe it clocked in around 5.5 hours for 21 fights.  I want to give a shoutout to Steve Rita who was taping fighters up and doing gloves backstage.  He was running his ass off making sure they were all ready and things went smoothly.  Thanks to the NEF crew for the great hospitality.  I had a blast sitting with Old School and next to Kelly MacDonald from CrossFaceProductions.  Make sure you check out her website.  Matt Douglas did the timekeeping and I didn't see any 7 minute rounds so great job Matt!! Thanks to Nick DiSalvo, Pete Czymbor and Matt Peterson for the support and allowing us to cover the show.  Thanks to Warchild for taking the photos, without them my review would just be words and boring!  All of our photos will be uploaded to our facebook fan page when we get around to it.  I will close this out with a few random pics ;)
