Auburn, Maine (April 23, 2022) – New England Fights (NEF) returns with its next mixed-martial-arts (MMA) event “NEF 47: The Battle of L/A” on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at the Norway Savings Bank Arena in Auburn, Maine.  Earlier today, the fight promotion announced the addition of a professional catchweight bout to the card.  Nathaniel Grimard (1-0) is scheduled to face Andrew Provost (1-0) at a fight weight of 150 pounds.

 Nathaniel Grimard made his professional MMA debut earlier this year at “NEF 46” with a unanimous decision victory over Anthony Vasta (0-1).  It was the follow up to a very successful amateur career that saw Grimard amass a record of 4-1 and capture the NEF Amateur Featherweight Title.  Grimard represents Nostos MMA of Somersworth, New Hampshire where he trains under UFC and Bellator veteran, and former NEF Professional Lightweight Champion, Devin Powell (10-5).
